I was on FC last night when the Durant news dropped. I ran some last minute projections shortly before the 8:00pm lock time.

Even with the Durant news, not a single (Perry Jones) was spit out by the "default" projections.

So, I log in this morning to gather some data from last night, and I see that Perry Jones is not listed on the #1 Default Roster Projection?

What gives???

I can't stress to you enough how important it is for the LU Rewind to spit out the exact same results as It did pre lock.

Please look into this
I am looking into this now. I have said it before and will say it again, we do not change projections after the fact. Without knowing what is going on just yet, is it possible that you loaded the page before we had pushed the last update? If we push an update, you currently will not get that unless you refresh the page. I am going to add an alert on the page in a coming update so you will know if we make an update and can refresh and grab that update if you would like.
I agree that this is a critical issue, but I'm not sure if it's functioning incorrectly. First, you must re-create the conditions that existed before 8PM EST last night. I have an export of the FC projections from 6:46 PM CST, so I assume after the last update before the 8PM EST contests began. But most nights there will have been additional updates for the late contests, so my point is that you can't use the LU Rewind feature using these later projections and expect similar results because the 9PM or 10PM games will have different projections.

After I import my saved projections here are the results:

I wasn't using any of the default lineups so I can't say if these lineups differ from what it was spitting out yesterday. CeeGee, if you want a copy of the saved projections for your own testing PM me your email.

The same thing is happening again for me this morning as I'm going through and trying to document the results of the Lineups pre lock...

Here is the problem. As far as I can tell.

Last night, I made it a point to remember when the last pre lock update was posted. It was 6:44pm, so, 16 minutes before the 7:00pm Lineup Lock time. Now this morning, when I go to run the LU Rewind, I see the "last update" is showing 8:27pm.

Now I understand why, because there is late news, and late slate games to play (Ben Udrih). Obviously he became a late value option with the Conley news.

Here is what I am asking for... In the future, when we use the LU Rewind feature, can we have the ability to choose which projections to "Rewind" From? Maybe a drop down box or something?

I've been tracking the Top 1-5 Lineups for the Default Projections since January 8th for Pro/Ceiling/Floor and then the same with a few of my own locks which are based on Consistency / Value and so on.

In my opinion, it really diminishes the value of the LU Rewind tool if we can't rewind to the last update pre lock for each night. We'll never be able to say, "wow that was a great lineup" because we'll rarely get the pre lock rewind the next day.

Hope it doesn't sound like I'm bitching. I'm just trying to give you all insight on how I use the tool.

PS: for anyone reading this, please understand that I'm not using the default projections in any of my games. I don't feel like anyone should simply be using lineups as a plug-and-play.

I'm just tracking the 1-5 results to better understand how they operate and which ones "on average" give us the highest quality lineups
