I thought this was possible already, but couldn't figure it out today. Earlier today Jhonny Peralta was in the STL confirmed lineup, then he was scratched for Matt Holliday. I was unable to figure out how to get Matt Holliday added back in, and there was no other $3800 OF that I could use as a placeholder. It would be nice to be able to modify the player pool for late scratches.
Until this feature comes out, what you can do is to lock a 3700 salary player and set max salary 100 lower. Sorry for the inconvenience, this is on our list of things to do.
