Topic: MLB Cruncher question

1

I was wondering if the MLB cruncher takes into account Batter Vs Pitcher and excludes batters from a lineup that are going against the two pitchers?

Reason I ask is I crunched a few lineup's yesterday and through my own modifications later, I ended up with NYY batters facing BOS pitcher in my (at the time) highest scoring lineup. This of course did not go well for me and is something I would like to avoid in the future.

Thanks!

We take into consideration the starting pitcher, but it's much harder to predict who will be relief pitching and for how long. But we don't directly use BvP stats because of sample size, we use other metrics instead.

Thanks Taicheeze, Starting pitcher is more than enough. That should help me avoid conflicts in the lineups I've created.
