When I pull a line-up the players are listed in different colors. I haven't found anything that refers to what the colors mean (if anything).

They are just the team colors. Its an easy way to tell at a glance if you are loaded up on a team.

Is there a way to back test saved lineups?

Thats what our lineup rewind can be used for. There is a cog in the top right hand corner that you can turn on the actual score column if it is not already displayed.

Also, if you save a lineup to "My lineups" you can see its score the next day (and any day in the future).
