I would just like to send my gratitude towards you guys for having the NHL on your site and showing it as much as attention as you do. I asked on another site about them adding NHL and the response I got was, "sorry for concentrating on a sport (NBA) that actually makes us money, we hope to get to the NHL eventually"

I played with it some more and was able to get 20 perfect lineups with it doing exactly what i wanted. Which was a 5 player stack from one team (1 line + D + G) and a line from another team and then a 2nd D from a 3rd team. Great job!!

You may still find some complaints of non-compliant lineups though as my first run through did produce a team with 5 Sharks, 3 Wild and then a goalie from a 3rd team.
I was just playing with the new stacking and I am very impressed, this is what I was envisioning when you first mentioned it. However, it still created a lineup that was not compliant. This is what I did, I set 2 team stacks, the first one was a 4 player stack from the line 1 and then my 2nd stack was the whole league, 3 forwards from line 1, 2, or 3. The problem lineup occurred when it stacked 2 D from the same team, so I went and added a rule to stack 0 Dmen from the same team but that ruined my 2nd stack being from all the same team for some reason.

I hope that all made sense, it probably sounds confusing. Any ways, my desire is to stack one line and a D from the same team, then stack 1 line from another team and then fill the 2nd D position with a player from a 3rd team. I was hoping by setting the rule to have 0 D from the same team would allow this to happen but it's not quite working.

I have faith in you guys to get it working properly and appreciate all your hard work in making us hockey goons happy. You definitely have the ground work layed for some awesome NHL crunching!!!
They responded to one of my previous posts and said they will be adding this in the next couple of weeks so it's more like the MLB stacknig

I realize NHL literally just got released but can you please update the players (e.g. I don't see Lucic for the Oilers). I was trying the new stacking feature and kept getting an error when locking McDavid, then I realized there's no lucic so i'm sure that's what's causing the error.

Same with the KIngs, Tanner Pearson is suspended until Oct 18 but is on the 1st line...this ruins trying to stack the Kopitar line.

Personally I was hoping the stacking feature was going to look more like the mlb one where you could select specific teams to stack.

And I have a question, if I set a stacking rule for the C to stack with exactly 2 w, c from the same line should the optimizer give me one line or should it give me 2 stacked lines from 2 different teams?

Hey guys,

This may have been requested before but it would be nice to be able to set different global exposure by position. (e.g. would be nice to set all RB's to 80% and WR's to 50%). I know we can just go set the players individually but it's time consuming.

Thanks guys for the quick response, I didn't think of reversing it so it's all good now. I really like what you guys added, might have to come back...you guys adding a stacking feature for NHL this year?
I'm trying to stack a RB with the Def of the same team and it keeps putting 2 RB from the same team with the Def...I tried changing it to 2 players to a team max and then it gives an error message.

How is the stacking feature any different than setting the minimum players from a team to 2 to 5? Any thoughts to adding an option so that the stack must be sequential? Or that the stack can't be any higher than a certain place in the batting order.

Perhaps the players you're locking is against the goalie you're locking. In the advanced section we have a "# of offensive players vs goalie allowed" and the default is 0.[/quote]
