I'm struggling with understanding why this is important and how to use it. I can't wrap my head around why seeing what happened yesterday changes how I would set my lineups today? Can you do one for MLB?

Use it to refine your process. You can back test projection systems and work on multi-LU entry strategies. One the most underrated features on the site.

Can you explain how it helps? All I see are the guys I should have played yesterday. But that doesn't necessarily mean I should start them today. Or does it? I really want to use this feature.

I can;'t figure out how it helps? Why do I need to see who scored the most points yesterday? Am I missing something?

If that is not working I would just lock him in for a set number of lineups. If you are trying to stack expensive hitters Sale wouldn't show up. If you also email support with your settings I could see what else maybe cause but 99% sure it's his salary and not enough high projected cheap hitters.

Thanks! I'll play with it. I just want to make sure I wasn't messing something up.

His salary based on his projection is likely the cause. Bump up his projection and you will likely end up with him in your lineups.

Still not showing up, but I am getting 80% Ross Detwiler lol

The optimizer is going to give you the best projected lineup based on your settings. That could cause a player like Sale not to show up especially at his salary.

What setting would I have that would exclude him?

Thanks!

I can't figure out why somebody like Chris Sale would be in zero out of 100 lineups. Am I missing something?
