Draftkings VALORANT Esports DFS Rundown (Champions) – December 07, 2021

Vision Strikers (VS) v.s. Cloud 9 Blue (C9B) (9:00 AM EST) (-133 VS)

Both teams in this matchup have defeated the same opponents in this tournament so far with the same series record but VS has a 93% win-rate while C9B has a 72% win-rate. Also, the potential problem for C9B is that VS has two players in MaKo and BuZz (1.23/1.20 K/D’s) that are just as consistent as C9B’s most efficient slayer in xeta (1.21 K/D). The gunfights might end up going back and forth though, due to C9B having two players average close to and over 300 damage per round. Leaf can potentially be that player for C9B to shift the match in their favor if anyone due to him having the most damage per round average of 315.2. In conclusion, with these teams having the same result against their opponents so far and top slayers having similar kill-death ratios it may come down to the wire and can go either way.

Team Vikings (VKS) v.s. Team SECRET (SECRE) (12:00 PM EST) (-138 VKS)

As for this match it may end up being more one-sided in favor of VKS who currently have a 71% win-rate and face off with a 55% win-rate SECRE squad. This is also another game though where both teams have the same series record against their previous opponents. Sacy of VKS has an average damage rate (357.2) well above any of the players of SECRE though which could give VKS just enough edge they need. DubsteP is SECRE’s highest average damage dealer at 289.4 and with a 50% first-blood rate compared to Sacy’s 80%. Unfortunately, for SECRE, Sacy is also his team’s intel main (Sova) so the longer he performs well on the map the more he’ll be’ll able to continue getting information on where his opponents may be due to his abilities. Therefore, kills will become easier for VKS with this information and could lead to a dominant win for VKS.

Team EnVy (NV) v.s. X10 Crit (X10) (3:00 PM EST)

NV is now the only North American team remaining and get a rematch against X10 who they’ve already swept 2-0 in this tournament. X10 has also struggled so far this tournament and have yet to win a map against any of their opponents. This should give NV a chance to repeat their dominance. Yay was the most efficient slayer in the last matchup for NV with a +12 kill-death differential as his team’s main duelist (Jett) so he’ll most likely continue to initiate the majority of gunfights first. In addition, there shouldn’t be surprise here if yay performs well again if not better due to him maintaining his high kill-death ratio of 1.41 and damage per round of 348.4. Sushiboys is coming off a dominant +27 kill-death differential game but was also the least efficient player in the previous match against NV so whether he rebounds or not will be a toss-up. X10’s best chances to win may rely on how well Patiphan performs who has the average damage round closest to yay (332.4) but as the opposing duelist with a less first-blood rate than yay early momentum may be too strong in favor of NV which could result in another sweep.
