Draftkings VALORANT Esports DFS Rundown (Champions) – December 01, 2021

Vision Strikers (VS) v.s. FULL SENSE (FS) (9:00 AM EST) (-638 VS)

FS will be entering this match on a four-game winning streak and looking to continue their streak to start Champ’s against a VS team looking to recover from a one-game losing streak. PTC will most likely continue leading the way for FS as the main duelist in the slaying category as he comes off a +16 kill-death differential series and a 1.35 K/D overall. The closest to that slaying capability is MaKo but as the team initiator/smoker he may not be the one to initiate in gunfights right away. This will put VS at a disadvantage and put more pressure on the second most efficient slayer in BuZz for VS who isn’t as consistent as PTC or their second most efficient slayer in JohnOlsen (1.31 K/D). With the two main duelists of FS not having the opposing duelists as consistent as them there should be no surprise if FS ends up dominating this matchup.

Team Vikings (VKS) v.s. Crazy Racoon (CR) (12:00 PM EST) (-115 VKS)

The number one team in Japan in CR will then face off with the number two team in Brazil in VKS. Neth has been the most consistent for CR thus far and as a Raze Main (duelist) with a 1.22 K/D. However, VKS does have two consistent slayers in Sacy (1.39 K/D) and frz (1.31 K/D) that may be able to counter neth’s killing. Recently, Sacy has been playing the intel role (Sova mainly) which will help his team get kills even more if he’s able to continue surviving throughout rounds. Due to VKS having success as of late with their two main slayers a lot more pressure will be on CR to succeed and they’ll definitely bet at risk of being upset here.

Fnatic (FNC) v.s. Cloud9 Blue (C9B) (3:00 PM EST) (-193 C9B)

Both teams in this matchup rank at sixth for their country with C9B playing for the US while FNC represents Europe. Xeppaa has been C9B’s last dominant player in their last series with a +23 kill-death differential game (1.18 K/D) as his team’s duelist (KAY-O) as of late who is also capable of using abilities for intel which will help his teammates discover where their enemies are on the map. On the other hand, FNC also has a consistent slayer in the intel role (Cypher mainly) in MAGNUM with a 1.24 K/D who should have close battles with Xeppaa (although Xeppaa is currently averaging more damage per round at 309.8 compared to MAGNUM’s 297.4). Mistic who happens to have the highest K/D out of both teams though as of late at 1.27 has shown the ability to clutch multiple rounds in previous marquee matchups and will be needed from his team to grind out this win. Since Mistic is the main smoker/initiator for his team he may now end up being the one first in battle but he’s very capable of causing havoc against other teams. In conclusion, this may end up being the closest match on the slate and can go either way and it will mostly come down to which intel player can survive the most/slay efficiently for their team.
