DraftKings CS:GO Esports DFS Rundown (Pinnacle) – October 11, 2021

SAW (SAW) v.s. Lyngby Vikings (LV) (9:00 AM EST)

The rankings for these teams have quite the gap with LV entering at 27th while SAW is at 58th. LV also has the win-rate advantage of 71.8% compared to SAW’s 47.8%. However, to SAW’s benefit they were able to defeat LV both times these teams faced off (2 games) earlier this year and JUST was the most efficient for SAW with a +16 kill-death differential. JUST has been the most efficient slayer f or his team as of late with a 1.11 K/D at the moment so he more than likely would need to perform well in order for his team to maintain their win-streak against LV. FASHR of LV can potentially make it more difficult for JUST and company this time around though due to his damage per round advantage (83.2) which is highest of both teams and kill-efficiency (1.16 KD). In addition, everyone with the exception of one player on LV has been slaying efficiently as of late with kill-death ratios above 1 (WolfY being the highest at 1.21). Therefore, SAW will have more pressure on them to collaboratively slow down the slaying from LV since JUST may potentially be phased out.

Unique (UNIQ) v.s. Endpoint (ENPT) (9:00 AM EST)

Both teams in this matchup enter on a two-game win streak in hopes to defend it and with extremely close win rates (ENPT being slightly ahead at 51.7% compared to UNIQ with 50%). Fortunately for ENPT, they have the sniper with the more accurate shot at the moment in CRUC1AL (30.4% headshot rate) to counter smiley of UNIQ (28% headshot rate) who is UNIQ’s most efficient slayer. Outside of smiley no one else on UNIQ stands out damage and/or kill-efficiency wise so slaying may a bit of a challenge for them even more. However, the other UNIQ players outside of smiley all have headshot rates above 50% (dukefissura averaging the highest at 58.9%) while ENPT has only one player with accuracy in that range. Therefore, if UNIQ is able to consistently play as a unit in gunfights they may have a fighting chance here.

Nemiga (NEM) v.s. mouz NXT (MNXT) (11:30 AM EST)

MNXT have been streaking as of late (three games) and now face a higher ranked team in NEM. However, MNXT have an overall efficient squad in slaying led by torzsi with a 1.32 K/D and as the main sniper/anchor of the team. The competition at sniper for torzsi should be iDISBALANCE of NEM but he’s currently slightly less efficient with a 1.22 K/D while both have a 0.09 assist per round rate. Therefore, slaying may end up becoming easier for the other players of MNXT due to torzsi possibly winning the majority of his duels with sniper. Xertion would probably the next player up to benefit from torzsi’s assistance for MNXT due to the high 80.5 damage per round as of late and coming off a +15 kill-differential game. On the other hand, lollipop21k is capable of countering xertioN since he averages the most damage per round out of both teams with an 83.8. Unfortunately, lollipop21k may be under more pressure to perform well due to his teammate/sniper main most likely either getting contained or phased out. That being said MNXT should be able to prevail but the snipers play a large part to their team’s success here.

FunPlus Phoenix (FPX) v.s. EC Kyiv (ECK) (11:30 AM EST)

FPX have also been another team getting off to a strong streak (three games at the moment as well) and have a good chance to continue it against a lower ranked opponent in ECK (95th to FPX’s 35th). STYKO has been FPX’s most efficient slayer as of late with a 1.11 KD but coming off -6 kill-differential game so now would be the time for ECK to take advantage if any. The closest player from ECK to that slaying caliber would be s4 (1.10 KD) who happens to be the main sniper for ECK. The problem is that Farlig of FPX is not too far behind him as the sniper for FPX and 1.06 K/D while assisting his team more (0.10 assist per round compared to 0.08 assists per round given by s4). Therefore, this sniper duel can potentially go back and forth but with Farlig tending to help his teammates more FPX has a chance to build a lead on that and possibly having a bounce back game from STYKO.
