DraftKings CS:GO Core Plays and Cheat Sheet (BLAST) – October 12, 2021

POGGERZ (POG) v.s. Heroic (HERO) (6:30 AM EST)

As POGGERZ begin to rise up the rankings they are faced with their toughest challenge yet in HEROIC who is ranked top ten in the world. The potential problem for POG though is that their slaying has been contributed primarily by one player in D0cC who currently has a 1.56 K/D. Although HERO has no one with that high of a kill efficiency as of late they do have the experience and players capable of clutching up rounds single-handedly such as TeSeS for example in their previous loss winning 1 versus 2 gunfights. Although D0cC may have a chance to do so as well the chance that he alone will be able to defeat one of the best teams in the game will be very difficult. 0scar being the least efficient slayer on POG while occasionally sniping also won’t help POG any more because he’d have to more than likely deal with cadiaN who is dealing more damage per round than him at the moment (69.4 versus 42.2 by 0scar). That being said if HERO successfully slows down D0cC theirs is a good chance they win in dominant fashion.

Fiend (FND) v.s. Dignitas (DIG) (9:00 AM EST) (-1125 DIG)

Both these teams meet again and FND was victorious in the previous matchup by a 2-0 series sweep. REDSTAR played a large role in the dominance FND had that matchup with a +20 kill-death differential. However, REDSTAR is no longer the most relied upon slayer and will have to be worried about two more higher damage dealers per round on the opposition in hallzerk (77 compared to his 72.9), and f0rest. F0rest of DIG was the only player with a positive kill-death differential in the previous game with 81.9 per round. Therefore, FND shouldn’t have their way as easily this time if they wish to continue their streak against DIG.

made in Brazil (MIBR) v.s. Complexity (CMPLX) (12:00 PM EST) (-825 CMPLX)

Another potential one-sided match will now go underway as MIBR (rank 101st) faces off with CMPLX (21st).  With both teams currently trying to recover from losses, MIBR (one) and CMPLX (three) now would be the best opportunity for MIBR to take advantage with the win-rate advantage of 46.7%. Tuurtle of MIBR has a chance to bounce back after a rough -12 kill-death differential since he is the most efficient slayer at the moment with a 1.21 K/D. This would put most of the pressure on blameF of CMPLX to lead his team due to his 83.1 damage per round and 0.16 assists per round. However, boltz of MIBR can match that with his 85 damage per round and higher assist rate of 0.18 which should give MIBR enough firepower to slow him down and give MIBR a chance to get out their losing streak.
