CFL DFS Core Plays & Cheat Sheets for Week 10 – DraftKings
Looking for a quick consolidated list of options to play today? Let’s take a look at our CFL Core Plays & Cheat Sheets for DraftKings to help navigate this week’s slate!
QB- Caleb Evans $6,500
Evans is likely to be the chalk at the quarterback position this week and I am going to be eating the chalk with Evans for a lot of reasons. The first reason is the fact that Evans is the minimum salary for quarterbacks. It is very rare that you can get a starting quarterback or frankly any starter at minimum salary. Rostering Evans allows you to basically roster any other player you would like this week. Another reason why I am eating the chalk on Evans is his talent. Evans has played in two games this season. In both games, he rushed for at least 50 yards. In one game he threw three touchdown passes and in the other game, he threw for 334 yards. That is elite production regardless of how expensive a player is. The match-up for Evans is also not a shabby one as the Alouettes have been an average defense against the pass this season ranking right in the middle in both passing yards allowed per game and touchdown passes allowed.
RB- William Stanback $9,500
With me eating the chalk on Evans this week and the savings he brings that allowed me to spend up at the running back position for Stanback. Stanback has been the most consistent running back in the CFL this season and even in his off game last week he still had a really good game with 80 plus total yards and double-digit fantasy points. This week is also not likely to be an off week for Stanback as the Redblacks can’t stop the run. The Redblacks have allowed 106 rushing yards per game this season which is the most in the CFL. Stanback also ran wild against them when they played earlier in the season rushing for 112 yards on just 15 carries in what was a blowout victory for Montreal.
DST- Blue Bombers $5,600
I normally give you a wide receiver as my third core play but am going to skip over the receivers this week. I like so many receivers this week that it is hard for me to say only one receiver is a core play. The defensive position is another story as while I am okay with several defenses this week there is only one defense I love and that is the Blue Bombers. The Blue Bombers defense is as good as they come and puts up huge stats week in and week out. The Blue Bombers have at least one takeaway in every game this season and have 19 total takeaways this season. The Blue Bombers also get after the quarterback with three or more sacks in four of their past six games. The Blue Bombers have produced at least ten fantasy points in all but one game this season.
