We have a pretty tight 11-match slate on our hands this Thursday and due to not real core play matches popping out to me, I am just sticking with a cheat sheet and notes instead of writing up core plays based solely around Vegas odds. On paper, I can see a lot of potential three-set matchups, with the only real large advantage on the slate coming in the form of Elina Svitolina who is a -500 favorite over Kristina Mladenovic who has played some strong tennis in the first two rounds of this tournament. I hold the same fear I have all tournament, and that is with us so close to the US Open, how much energy is going to be output here. Making a deep run here is a bit of a curse heading into a Major and it makes the analysis of some of these matchups a little more difficult. That being said, I type that as a guy writing DFS advice from his computer and not as a world-class athlete. Marta Kostyuk is my favorite high-priced play on the slate as she is a -400 favorite and holds a strong H2H record over her opponent. She is also in great current form, winning her last two matches in straight sets while only dropping eight total games. With me swinging and missing on value the last two days, I am not going to give a specific play, though Ivashka (with reasons on the Cheat Sheet), Peterson, and even someone like Zhang are in play here. Zhang is purely off of her basement price and only being a +180 underdog.
