Week 13 NFL DFS Core Plays & Cheat Sheet for the Main Slate on DraftKings

Sharing our core plays and cheat sheet for the Week 13 Main NFL Slate on DraftKings.

In this column, we’ll share 4 core plays for DraftKings on a weekly basis, as well as our cheat sheet for the week’s main slate.

Let’s get right to it and have a look at the Main Slate!

QB – Nick Foles, $5,700 vs. TB

If you are looking for a value play at QB this week, it’s a tough decision between Carson Wentz and Foles…and both are viable.  I’ll opt for Foles due to the fact that we have seen Wentz and the Eagles struggle mightily of late.  When you add in the fact that Carson Wentz hurt his hand last week (though he’ll play through it), I prefer Foles for a similar price point.  He draws a match-up with the Bucs, who have allowed the second most fantasy points on the season to opposing QB’s.  The Bucs will also put up points on the board, which should force the Jags to turn to the air attack early and often this Sunday.

RB – Christian McCaffrey, $10,500 vs. WAS

The price point is difficult to swallow – but I simply think this is a week where you pay up for McCaffrey.  Theare are a lack of options in terms of quality RB’s on the board this week, and I’d be quite surprised if he didn’t end the week as the RB1.  Look for him to continue to be heavily involved in all phases of the offence for the Panthers, and I think he’s worth the high spend this week when building line-ups.

WR – D.J. Chark, $6,600 vs. TB

The Bucs have allowed the most fantasy points to WR’s by a rather wide margin this year, putting Chark in a great spot this week.  The game should be one of the higher scoring of the Main Slate, and I like the second-year wide-out to keep producing for the Jags.  His price point doesn’t break the bank, and I like his chances of having a big Week 13, making him my favourite dollar for dollar WR of the Main Slate.

TE – Jack Doyle, $3,300 vs. TEN

The match-up isn’t oustanding for Doyle, but with Hilton ruled out, and Ebron on IR – he should be in line to be a key cog in the passing attack for the Colts.  It’s hard to argue with the price point here – he is an elite value play that will free up salary relief for some higher spends elsewhere in Week 13.
