Welcome to the FC Insights Core Plays and Cheat Sheet Article for DraftKings.
In this post, we will be breaking down our top options and plays for DraftKings for each night of the 2019-2020 NBA DFS season.
- Trae Young (61.00 fantasy points, 6.9x value)
- Aaron Holiday (23.50 fantasy points, 5.6x value)
- Bruce Brown Jr. (28.50 fantasy points, 5.1x value)
- OG Anunoby (41.75 fantasy points, 7.2x value)
Hutchison has only played two games this season and has not played more than 20 minutes in either of those games but even with the red flags, I like Hutchison tonight. There are two reasons why I like the young player. The first is his salary. Hutchison is dirt cheap at only $200 above the site minimum. The second is Hutchison is going to get the start for the Bulls with Otto Porter Jr. out. With the start, we should see Hutchison play minutes in the mid to upper 20s against a Rockets team that struggles on the defensive end of the court.
Rozier is coming off a complete disaster of a game against his former team Boston but had been playing well in the three games prior. In those games, Rozier averaged 21.33 points, 5.67 assists, and five rebounds. Rozier was able to produce at least 35 fantasy points in each of those games. That is the level of production I expect we see from Rozier tonight as he takes on a Pelicans team that is allowing the most fantasy points per game to point guards, most points per game, and has the second-worst team defensive net rating this season.
Ingram has been one of the best players in the NBA this season. In his eight games which includes a game he only played 11 minutes due to a head injury, Ingram is averaging 26 points on a 27.9% usage rate, 7.1 rebounds, 3.9 assists, and 1.8 steals+blocks. Ingram has at least 40 fantasy points in all but two games this season and is averaging 1.37 fantasy points per minute. Tonight we shouldn’t see Ingram slow down one bit as he faces a Hornets team that ranks in the bottom ten in fantasy points allowed per game to both forward positions.
Gilgeous-Alexander is one of my favorite players on this slate due to his match-up against the Warriors. The Warriors have been god awful on the defensive side of the ball ranking dead last in defensive net rating, second to last in points allowed per game and have allowed the third-most fantasy points per game to shooting guards. The Warriors are also likely to be fatigued tonight as this is the second game of a back-to-back after an overtime game.
Please note that we can only list a player at one position on the cheat sheets and unless otherwise noted I like the player at both of their eligible positions.
