DraftKings Core Plays & Cheat Sheet - NFL DFS Contests 2019

Week 6 NFL DFS Core Plays & Cheat Sheet for DraftKings

Sharing our core plays and cheat sheet for the Week 6 2019 NFL DFS slate on DraftKings.

In this column, we’ll share 4 core plays for DraftKings on a weekly basis, as well as our cheat sheet for the week’s main slate.

Let’s get right to it and have a look at the Main Slate!

QB – Gardner Minshew, $5,000 vs. NO

Minshew, through four games has been a high floor option at the QB position – and priced very affordably in a match-up with the Saints, playing at home – it’s hard not to love him for $5,000.  If you are looking for a QB with more upside, you’ll likely have to spend up into the $6k range for the likes of K.Murray, D.Watson, etc – but if you are looking for a QB that should approach 20 DKP against a defence that has been below average against the pass, there’s a lot to like about Minshew this week.

RB – Derrick Henry, $6,100 @ DEN

The price is right on Henry as he goes up against the Denver run defence and is priced affordably.  He should approach 20 touches, and I wouldn’t be surprised if he blew up for a huge game in this one.  Henry has been remarkably consistent so far this season, and while he hasn’t had one of his infamous 2018 showings, it wouldn’t surprise me if we saw it this week against a Denver front seven that has been gashed by opposing backs at times this season.  He’s a great option, and always is lower owned on DK because of the full PPR scoring.

WR – Cooper Kupp, $7,100 vs. LAR

Kupp has been one of the top 3 WR’s in the game, and I don’t see him slowing down this week.  I expect the Rams and 49ers to have a high scoring game this week, and I wouldn’t be shocked to see the Rams playing from behind, a situation that benefits all of Goff’s receiving options, but Kupp in particular.  He should probably be $1k more expensive – and while I do think he’ll be highly owned, I think you eat the chalk on this one.  I think he has another big game this Sunday.

TE – Austen Hooper, $5,000 @ ARI

Facing the Cardinals, who have had their struggles against the TE well documented, Hooper should feast this week in what should be a track meet of a game.  Look for him to see double digit targets in this one, and I think he has a good shot of being the TE1 this week.  He’s in a great spot, and I expect Matt Ryan to continue to look his way often.
