Sharing our top CFL DFS Lineup Picks and Recommended Plays for DraftKings DFS contests – Week 11 of the 2019 season
Our best daily fantasy CFL lineup advice, picks and plays for week 11 of the CFL season (cash games and GPPs).
Welcome to The Key Three.
This post will be similar to our MLB, NBA, NHL, and NFL Core Plays. We will be offering our cheat sheet for the full week slate of games.
I will highlight three players I am looking at for my rosters – focusing on some plays that are great foundations for your CFL DraftKings lineups for Week 11!
1) QB- Vernon Adams Jr., MTL, $10,400 — I don’t think it should be a shock to anyone that Adams is the quarterback I want to build around this week. Adams has just been excellent all season long and has at least 18 fantasy points in five straight games. Adams is also in an elite match-up this week as he takes on the Argonauts. The Argonauts allow the second-most passing yards per game, most passing yards per attempt and second-most passing touchdowns. They have also allowed the third-most rushing touchdowns which really comes into play with Adams as he has at least two rushing touchdowns in three of his past four games.
2) WR- Rodney Smith, TOR, $4,400 — I want to start by saying that I know I am going to recommend the defense that Smith is playing against next in this article. While not playing an offensive player against your defense is a hard rule I have in NFL I don’t have that rule in CFL. With that out of the way, let us go into the reasons why I like Smith this week as there are three of them. The first is he is dirt cheap and you need to find some salary savings if you want to roster the big guns on this slate. The second is the way he is playing. Smith has at least four catches for 45 yards and eight fantasy points in each of his past two games. The last reason is due to his match-up. While I think the Alouettes are a great option this week for reasons I will go into later I don’t think they are a good defense and they are allowing the most passing yards per game this season.
3) DST – Montreal Alouettes, MTL, $4,800 — The Alouettes defense has been bad this season but it doesn’t matter to me as I still am rostering them at their salary due to the match-up they are in. The Alouettes get to take on the Argonauts who are the worst offense in the CFL. This season the Argonauts are averaging the fewest points per game, have allowed the third-most sacks and thrown the second-most interceptions. The Alouettes defense for as bad as they have been have shown some upside as they have produced at least eight fantasy points in four of their past five games.
Best of Luck in Week 11 CFL action. Here’s to hoping you can get the season off to a good start!
