Welcome to the Daily Four Pack where we share four core players on DraftKings that you are going to want to target for MLB DFS contests on Wednesday, June 26, 2019.
Note: For the rest of this month due to the passing away of one of our team members father and preplanned travel we will not be posting the FC3 for both Yahoo and FantasyDraft. We also will only be posting one set of MLB Cheat Sheets. Thanks for your understanding in this matter.
Pitcher to Target
Valdez stunk in his last start but was excellent in his first two starts of the season with 15 strikeouts and only three total runs allowed in 13 innings of action. Valdez produced at least 24 fantasy points in both of those starts and that is the kind of production I expect we see from him tonight as he takes on the Pirates. The Pirates suck against left-handed pitching with the third lowest team OPS and team ISO while having a team K rate over 24% against them this season.
Yesterday’s Results: Jesse Chavez 29.25 fantasy points
Hitters to Target
I know the match-up is bad for Castellanos as he takes on Mike Minor but at his salary, I am all over him. Castellanos has reached base safely in 19 straight games and has an OPS of .962, an ISO of .244 and a wOBA of .402 against left-handed pitching since the start of the 2017 season.
Yesterday’s Results: Giancarlo Stanton 3.00 fantasy points
I know that Votto has not been the player we are used to seeing so far this season but he is starting to heat up. Votto has reached base safely in each of his past 15 starts and has back-to-back games with a home run. Votto is not only hitting the ball well right now but I love the match-up as he takes on Jaime Barria who is allowing left-handed hitters to slash .303/.324/.515 with a .350 wOBA and 43.5% hard-hit rate this season. What I really love about Votto tonight is his salary as he is dirt cheap at only $3,600 in salary.
Yesterday’s Results: Bryce Harper 4.00 fantasy points
I never thought that I would be paying this much for Kingery as he looked lost in his rookie season but he has really turned things around. This season, Kingery is slashing .331/.376/.630 with a .299 ISO and a .415 wOBA. Kingery has been really good as of late for the Phillies with hits in nine of his past 11 games. Tonight I am expecting another big performance from Kingery as he takes on Jason Vargas who despite what his numbers may say is not very good and is allowing right-handed hitters to have a hard-hit rate of 39.9% this season.
Yesterday’s Results: Justin Bour N/A was not in the lineup and was not able to update the article
