Welcome to the Daily Three Pack where we share three core players on FantasyDraft that you are going to want to target for MLB DFS contests on Friday, June 14, 2019.
In this article, I am going to give you three core plays that I am using in cash games for the main slate of games. This core will include a player at each of the three positions on FantasyDraft pitcher, infielder, and outfielder.
Pitcher to Target
I love Davies as your SP2 choice tonight at his salary for a couple of reasons. The first is I like how Davies is pitching. Davies has pitched at least six innings without allowing more than two runs in five of his past seven games. In those games, he has at least 17 fantasy points and has produced at least 16 fantasy points in six of his past eight games. The second reason is his match-up with the Giants. The Giants rank 28th in team wOBA and 26th in team ISO while having the tenth highest team K rate against right-handed pitching this season. Davies also gets a boost with this game being in San Francisco as AT&T Park is one of the best pitchers parks in baseball.

Infielder to Target
Spending almost $11,000 in salary on Rendon against Robbie Ray may seem like a crazy move tonight but when you really dig into the numbers you will see it is not. Let’s start with the reason why Ray is not as good as he may seem. While Ray has impressive numbers due to his ability to get strikeouts he is a fly ball pitcher that allows a lot of hard contact especially to right-handed hitters. Ray is allowing righties to have a 41.4% hard contact rate this season. Rendon, on the other hand, is a lefty killer. Since the start of the 2017 season, Rendon has an OPS of 1.042, an ISO of .315 and a wOBA of .425. Rendon is also smoking hot right now reaching base in 27 of his past 28 games with eight home runs in those games including three in his past four games.

Outfielder to Target
I am a huge Yordan fan. Yordan just destroyed Triple-A pitching and has been excellent in his three games since. Alvarez has two home runs in those three games and even more impressive in my eyes has walked five times in his 14 plate appearances. Tonight I am expecting another big game from the young stud as I love the match-up against Aaron Sanchez. Sanchez has been solid against left-handed hitting this season but allowing them to slash .288/.407/.470 with a .380 wOBA last season.
Yesterday’s Results: Cody Bellinger 33.00 fantasy points
