Welcome to the Daily Four Pack where we share four core players on DraftKings that you are going to want to target for MLB DFS contests on Friday, June 14, 2019.
Pitcher to Target
There are plenty of expensive pitchers on this slate but Cole is by far my favorite of the expensive or elite pitchers. The reason why Cole stands out for me is the match-up with the Blue Jays. Yes, the Blue Jays have been hitting the ball a lot better as of late and hit the ball better on the road than they do at home but they are still a team that struggles mightily against right-handed pitching. This season the Blue Jays rank 24th in team ISO and 29th in team wOBA while having the fifth highest team K rate against right-handed pitching. Cole should dominate this team and I predict he will have his third game in his past four with double-digit strikeouts and at least 35 fantasy points.

Hitters to Target
Hedges was out of the Padres lineup last night but should be in the lineup tonight. If Hedges is in the lineup as I expect he is a must play for me for the same reason he was last night as he is a dirt cheap catcher hitting at Coors Field. Unlike last night, however, he is actually in a fantastic match-up tonight as Jeff Hoffman is taking the mound for the Rockies. Hoffman is a really bad pitcher and in his career, at Coors Field, he is allowing right-handed hitters to slash .295/.370/.539 with a .380 wOBA

I know that Aguilar has done nothing this season outside of a two-game stretch where he hit three home runs and had seven RBIs but at his salary, I cannot ignore him tonight for a couple of reasons. The first of those reasons is while Aguilar’s overall numbers are bad his batted ball profile shows that his luck should turn around a lot sooner than later. Aguilar only has a BABIP of .236 despite having a decent hard-hit rate of 36.8% which while not great is the same range as players like Luke Voit and Andrew Benintendi. The second reason I cannot ignore Aguilar at his salary is his match-up with Drew Pomeranz. Pomeranz is a bad left-handed pitcher who is allowing right-handed hitters to slash .317/.399/.583 with a .410 wOBA this season.

I am loading up at Coors Field today with as many hitters as I possibly can. I already gave you a cheap hitter from Coors to target and now I am giving you my favorite expensive hitter in Dahl. Dahl has been smoking hot this season especially as of late. Dahl has reached base safely in 22 of his past 24 games and is slashing .376/.427/.581 with a .422 wOBA during this stretch. Dahl is also in an excellent match-up tonight as he takes on Cal Quantrill. Quantrill has made five starts in the majors and in those starts,he is allowing lefties to slash .333/.400/.651 with a .433 wOBA.
