How are your projections generated? Are they match-up dependent?

Our projections are generated using sophisticated models that take into account factors such as: per-minute averages, opponents' defense, vegas odds/lines, rest, and so much more. We also back-test all of our data to make sure the specific weighting factors we use are as accurate as possible.  If you want to import your own projections, you can upload any data or projection from our Upload Data tab.

In sports like NFL and Nascar, we have also debuted new models that will show you exactly how the projection is being made. For NFL we factor in projected pass attempts and pass/run splits. For example, if your quarterback is projected to throw it 40 times, that means the total number of targets for the receivers is 40. Our projections factor in all this data and also make it easy for the user to adjust it to their own liking.
