Favorite Plays
Stud Player
Joel Embiid
I have been telling you guys to avoid Embiid since his thumb injury and that has proven to be a smart move as Embiid has struggled since his thumb injury producing less than 43 fantasy points in all but one of his games since the injury. Tonight I am doing the exact opposite and telling to play Embiid. I am telling you to play Embiid despite his poor performances as this is a win-or-go-home game for the 76ers and my gut is telling me win or lose Embiid goes off, especially after his comments after their game five loss.
Mid-Tier Player
Cameron Johnson
Johnson had a solid game one for the Suns with 25.25 fantasy points then struggled the next two games putting up a total of 26 fantasy points. While those games were awful they seem to be in the rear view mirror for Johnson as he has had back-to-back solid games. Johnson has scored in double figures with at least 21 fantasy points in each of the past two games for the Suns.
Value Player
Gabe Vincent
Kyle Lowry has been ruled out for tonight’s contest and that means you need to fire up Vincent. In the 19 regular-season games that Vincent played that Lowry missed, Vincent averaged 11.5 points, 2.2 rebounds, 4.2 assists, 1.2 steals, and 23.53 fantasy points. In the five playoff games that Vincent has started in place of Lowry, Vincent has produced at least 19 fantasy points four times with three games over 24 fantasy points including in the Heat’s game five win.
