DraftKings CS:GO Esports DFS Rundown (PGL Major Antwerp) – May 11, 2022

IHC (IHC) vs. Imperial (IMP) (6:00 AM EST)

IHC was finally able to get the ball rolling again sweeping their last opponent and it was behind bLitz’s dominance (+25 kill-death differential). However, they’ll be playing a higher ranked team in IMP (32nd overall compared to IHC’s 49th rank). Despite having the highest damage per round out of both teams still at 89.9, bLitz will now have to worry about two opposing players close to that range of damage from IMP that may have a chance to counter him. Fer would be one of those players of IMP if any, to possibly contribute more out of the two players within bLitz’s range, and has the highest assist rate for IMP (0.17 per round). That being said the performances of the other IHC players will become even more crucial and if bLitz tends to struggle, they may be in trouble here.

Team Liquid (TL) vs. Complexity (CMPLX) (8:00 AM)

These teams are quite familiar with each other and have win-rates in a similar range at the moment with TL having the slight edge (58.3% versus CMPLX’s 56%). Also, TL were able to sweep CMPLX the last time these teams faced off 2-0. EliGE and shox both played a large part in the slaying success for TL with double-digit positive kill-death differentials, and ElIGE may be the more likely to cause havoc once again of the two in this matchup. Despite the slight regression in damage per round ElIGE still remains the one of the highest damage dealers in the league at 90 which no one of CMPLX is near at the moment. The only player with a positive kill-death differential from CMPLX in the previous matchup is also one of the lowest damage dealers on the team so CMPLX may have a hard time redeeming themselves in this one.

Bad News Eagles (BNE) vs. Team ENCE (ENCE) (11:00 AM EST)

This may be one of the more one-sided matchups on the slate with ENCE entering at 3rd while BNE enters at 26th. ENCE is coming off a tough loss and even then their most reliable player in Spinx as of late was able to have a positive kill-death differential. With Spinx dealing the most damage still of both teams at an 85.5 rate he should be able to perform well for ENCE once again. However, it may take more than just Spinx doing well for ENCE to prevail (as shown from their previous matchup). This is where BNE can potentially find an opening. The closest counter from BNE would be juanflatroo who has a 1.04 K/D compared to Spinx’s 1.31 K/D, but if the other players redeem themselves from ENCE they should be able to rebound from their last loss.

Eternal Fire (EF) vs. Made In Brazil (MIBR) (11:00 AM EST) (-137 EF)

To conclude the slate, a more even match ranking wise will go underway as the 30th ranked EF squad faces off with the 25th ranked MIBR squad. XANTARES continues to contribute positively for EF in the slaying category and should be MIBR’s main concern due to his 91 damage per round. Sadly, no one on MIBR is dealing that much damage as of late. With XANTARES coming off a positive kill-death differential series and a team loss overall, things should be scarier for MIBR with EF possibly being more eager to win having a better chance to do so this match. Although, JOTA is coming off a decent performance (+4 kill-death differential) the pressure may be too much for him to handle and the majority of the other MIBR players haven’t been as consistent as of late. In other words, behind XANTARES possibly performing well it would be tough to see EF lose.
