DraftKings CS:GO Esports DFS Rundown (PGL Major Antwerp) – May 10, 2022

IHC (IHC) vs. Renegades (REN) (9:00 AM EST) (-114 IHC)

IHC was defeated twice in one day against their previous opponents but may have a chance to rebound here against a REN squad they swept 2-0 the last time these teams met. The majority of the IHC in that previous faceoff had double-digit positive kill-death differntials with bLitz leading the way with over 100+ damage per round. Unfortunately, for REN bLitz has managed to maintain his high damage rate per round and leads both teams with 87.5. Therefore, he may end up causing more problems for REN once again. REN’s best counter would have to be their rifleman Liazz who has been the most consistent of both teams with a 1.24 K/D and slightly close to that range of damage with 80.3. However, Liazz was slowed down in the previous matchup with a double-digit negative kill-death differential so if he is unable to turn things around this game the chances of REN getting revenge here may be unlikely.

G2 Esports (G2) vs. Team ENCE (ENCE) (10:00 AM EST) (-115 ENCE)

The potentially closest matchup on the slate with both teams being within the top ten ranking wise will go underway here. ENCE should have the upper hand with a number three ranking against the 6th ranked G2 squad. Both teams have also been on a tear (five-game winning streak) and ENCE was able to edge out the victory in a tight map three (2-1 series win) against G2 the last time these teams met. However, G2’s roster has changed since then. NiKo has improved since then for G2 and is dealing the most damage per round out of both teams at a 91.3 which can become problematic, especially if his anchor/sniper in m0NESY (who wasn’t in the previous lineup) is performing well. However, hades does have a chance to redeem himself due being slightly more consistent (1.14 K/D compared to m0NESY’s 1.10). On the other hand, huNter- is not too far from NiKo in slaying consistency as of late with a 1.25 K/D so he should complement his teammates well. Regardless, this match should go down to the wire and can go either way, but G2 does have a good chance at redemption here.

9Z (9Z) vs. Team Liquid (TL) (10:00 AM EST)

One of the more uneven matchups will close out the slate with the 29th ranked 9Z squad facing off with the 13th ranked TL squad.  Both teams are coming off losing streaks though, so momentum will play large factor of the pace in the series. With 9Z’s most reliable slayer in dgt rebounding in their last game (+7 kill-death differential), and 1.42 K/D to this point, but still not succeeding with his team to win can be a problem this match. This is because 9Z will have to deal with higher damage dealing players such as NAF and EliGE who maintained their high damage rates of 90+ per round. This should allow TL to get the upper hand in gunfights and possibly dominating 9Z overall. Also, the main sniper in oSee can potentially bounce back from a negative kill-death differential series here due to being slightly more consistent (1.31 K/D) versus the opposing sniper in Luken (1.21 K/D) which would only benefit the rest of the TL players even more. That being said TL should be able to dominate this matchup and get back on pace to starting another winning streak.
