Kevin Harvick – DK: $8,800 | FD: $9,000 – Starting 35th

May 12th, 2012 – that is the date of the last time that Kevin Harvick finished outside of the top ten in a race at Darlington. Harvick has won here in 2020 (twice) and also back in 2014. His last seven races at Darlington have resulted in the following finishes: 5-6-1-3-1-4-4. Harvick has also led at least 10 laps in each of his last five races and nine of his last 11. Since 2015, Harvick has never scored below 40 fantasy points at this track and he has also never started this far back at this track. Even ignoring the track success here, the starting position of 35th is enough to offer us the upside to hunt differential. Now we get the differential points as well as someone who has turned in top-ten finishes here with ease.

Erik Jones – DK: $7,700 | FD: $7,200 – Starting 11th

While the 2021 races at Darlington were not very kind to Erik Jones, the previous six were with all of them being top-ten finishes and three of them being top-five – as well as a win. Even in 2021, when Jones finished 18th, he still netted over 40 fantasy points in the race. Dating back to 2017, Jones has never scored less than 47 fantasy points here at Darlington. Aside from his career success at Darlington, he has scored 41 or more fantasy points in four of his last six races including 49.45 last week at Dover and 54.25 at Talladega the week before. The starting spot of 11 here is a little high for me, but the price keeps this in play, especially so on FanDuel where the differential isn’t as strong of a statistic. If you are looking for a full-price punt here, Corey Lajoie has scored 28 or more fantasy points in his last three races.
