Favorite Plays

Stud Player

Jimmy Butler

If you wanted to say Luka Doncic was the top player on this slate I am not going to really fight you on it. Doncic as he always does has put up some huge numbers in the playoffs. With that said I like Butler for a couple thousand cheaper in salary than Doncic as he is also putting up huge numbers. Butler has at least 50 fantasy points in four of his past five games and is averaging 53.9 fantasy points per game in those five games. The forward position is also not as loaded as the guard position is on this slate which makes Butler more attractive to me. The great news on this slate is if you really cannot decide between the two it shouldn’t matter as you should easily be able to afford both players and even a third stud on this slate.

Mid-Tier Player

Jae Crowder

Crowder continues to play well in the playoffs, especially in this series. Through the first two games of this series, Crowder is averaging 13 points, 7.5 rebounds, three assists, and 1.5 steals+blocks. Crowder has at least 27 fantasy points in each of those games and there really isn’t any reason to believe that he doesn’t continue his strong play in this one.

Value Player

Paul Reed

The center position is an ugly one again tonight and I want to get out of it as cheap as possible. While I went with De’Andre Jordan on Wednesday at the position as I thought his game one performance without Joel Embiid was a fluke I was proven wrong. While Jordan is the one getting the start for the 76ers Reed is the player playing more minutes and frankly better with Embiid out. Reed played 25 minutes to Jordan’s 13 in game two and produced 16.5 fantasy points to Jordan’s 13.75 fantasy points. That game two performance came after Reed went for 24.75 fantasy points in just 13 minutes of action in game one.
