Favorite Plays
James Harden
Harden has a reputation of not playing well in the playoffs and didn’t help his cause in the first round of the playoffs against the Raptors. In that series, Harden had only one game over 50 fantasy points while producing three games with 40 or fewer fantasy points. With that said I don’t care what Harden’s reputation is as I don’t see how you don’t roster him tonight with Joel Embiid out. Since joining the 76ers Harden has a usage rate of 36.1% when not sharing the court with Embiid. That is an 11.1% increase in usage than when sharing the court with Embiid. Harden is also averaging 0.23 more fantasy points per minute for a 1.45 fantasy points per minute average.
Gabe Vincent
Kyle Lowry has already been ruled out for tonight’s game and that makes Vincent one of my favorite value plays. Vincent always seems to play well whenever Lowry is out. In the 19 regular-season games that Lowry missed that Vincent played, Vincent averaged 11.5 points, 2.2 rebounds, 4.2 assists, 1.2 steals, and 22.47 fantasy points in 30.6 minutes of action. In the two playoff games that Lowry has missed Vincent is averaging ten points, 3.5 rebounds, four assists, and 1.5 steals in 28.5 minutes of action. Vincent has at least 23 fantasy points in both of those playoff games.
