DraftKings & FanDuel CS:GO Esports DFS Rundown (BLAST) – December 15, 2021
Ninjas In Pyjamas (NIP) v.s. G2 Esports (G2) (7:30 AM EST) (-265 G2)
After being shutout 3-0 to the number two ranked team in the world in their last match, NIP now gets a chance to redeem themselves but at a tough task against the number three ranked team in G2. Unfortunately, for NIP they’ve been dominated in previous series these teams had (5-1) total. NiKo of G2 has been one of the more consistent players for G2 in the previous matchups finishing at least top two in all games except two. Also, with such high damage per round (95.7) there shouldn’t be surprise if NiKo continues to lead the way for his G2 squad. Device should be NIP’s best hope to give them a shot at winning due to his sniper advantage over AmaNEk (1.28 K/D for device over AmaNEk’s 1.10 K/D), however G2 has the two highest damage dealers in NiKo and huNter- (who has also ended at least top two in kills in the majority of the past matchups) which should give them enough edge to win.
Team Vitality (VIT) v.s. Astralis (ASTRA) (10:15 AM EST) (-185 VIT)
VIT has been one of the strongest teams as of late and will look to extend their three-game winning streak against the new look ASTRA squad. Last time these teams faced off the series came down to the wire but VIT prevailed 2-1. ZywOo played a large role in that victory for VIT with a +31 kill-death differential during that series. ZywOo has still been one of the more efficient slayers (1.40 K/D), which is higher than anyone of both teams and also with an 86.9 damage per round edge over the opposing main sniper in Lucky (61 damage per round). This may result in ZywOo dominating this new ASTRA squad once again since he may not end up being slowed down. Therefore, ASTRA may have a difficult time rebounding and pulling out the victory. If anyone were to at least give the ASTRA team a chance it may end up being blameF and k0nfig who were also the two leading slayers for ASTRA in the previous loss, but even then, that wasn’t enough for them to win. That being said, since ASTRA may not have an answer for ZywOo they may end up losing once again.
Natus Vincere (NATUS) v.s. Heroic (HERO) (1:00 PM EST) (-838 NATUS)
The number one team currently in ranking in NATUS were upset in their previous matchup against a team below the top ten and will now have to faceoff with a higher ranked team in HERO (6th). S1mple also dominated HERO the last time these teams met with a +31 kill-death differential and causing the opposing sniper in cadiaN to be the least efficient (-14 kill-death differential) for his HERO squad. Up to this point s1mple still may have a massive advantage with a more accurate shot (39.5% headshot rate) compared to cadiaN’s 28.2% headshot rate and damage dealt per round of 86.2 versus cadiaN’s 67.9. These may result in easier kills for NATUS if s1mple has his way once again throughout the maps. The next two highest slayers for NATUS in electronic and B1T are also the next most efficient slayers behind s1mple with 1.17 and 1.23 K/D’s as of late. Therefore, they may end up performing just as well if not better in this rematch once again. In other words, HERO may have a very difficult time stopping this NATUS squad and may even get swept if they don’t come up with a strategy to slow down s1mple right away.
