Draftkings VALORANT Esports DFS Rundown (Champions) – December 05, 2021

Team SECRET (SECRE) v.s. Crazy Racoons (CR) (9:00 AM EST) (-185 SECRE)

To start off the first round of losers the top Japanese team in CR will be facing off with Filipino team SECRE. CR has a decent gap in win percentage as well with 72% compared to SECRE’s 50%. Neth has been CR’s most consistent slayer with a 1.12 K/D but CR was shutdown in their previous match and he had a -14 kill-death differential as a result. Therefore, SECRE may have a way to help their team pull off an upset against CR if their top slayer struggles. However, the closest player to having a close first-blood rate of neth is witz with a 51% rate compared to neth’s 53%. In other words, SECRE will have to make a collaborative effort to shut him down. Luckily, DubsteP of SECRE averages more damage per round at 289.3 compared to neth’s 274.3 so this may be just enough to slow him down and help increase SECRE’s chances of winning.

KRU Esports (KRU) v.s. FURIA Esports (Fur) (12:00 PM EST) (-131 Fur)

FURIA have displayed that they’re a force to be reckoned with despite their last loss to one of the best teams in the league. The win-rates are extremely close though with a 77% rate in favor of KRU compared to FUR’s 72%. Fortunately for FUR, none of the KRU players have kill-death ratios well above one compared to their team especially Khalil with a 1.31 K/D. Since Khalil has been aggressive in his intel role, he should be able to have success finding out where KRU players are early which should help him and his team succeed in gunfights. Also, the fact that FUR has another intel main in nzr (Sova specifically) that is the next most efficient slayer for their team it should give them a massive advantage.

FULL SENSE (FS) v.s. Cloud9 Blue (C9B) (3:00 PM EST) (-775 C9B)

Another match that can potentially become one-sided will also go underway with C9B being ranked sixth in the world while FS is rank 39th. Despite their recent loss xeta was able to have a positive kill-death differential as the initiator for his C9B team. Therefore, there should be no surprise if he’s the player for his team to contribute heavily to slaying again especially having the highest K/D of 1.19 on C9B. However, FS does have two players with kill-death ratios well above 1.2+ which could help them counter C9B in gunfights. Both top slayers are coming off rough games for FS but JohnOlsen will have the average damage per round advantage by a good number (332.1) compared to xeta’s 265.6 which should give JohnOlsen a good chance to have a positive rebound game. In other words, even though C9B seems to have the edge from the surface their lack of damage in gunfights as of late may be their downfall.
