CFL DFS Core Plays & Cheat Sheets for Week 13 – DraftKings
Looking for a quick consolidated list of options to play today? Let’s take a look at our CFL Core Plays & Cheat Sheets for DraftKings to help navigate this week’s slate!
QB- Michael Reilly $9,700
Quarterback is kind of a crap shot this week but frankly, it has been a crapshoot most of the season. Due to the unpredictability of the position, I am tempted to spend down for Taylor Cornelius who is just $7,800 in salary this week. With that being said the quarterback that I am likely going to have the most exposure to this week is Reilly. Reilly has been dog crap in his last three games throwing for less than 200 yards in each game with three interceptions and zero touchdown passes but he was really good prior to this bad stretch. Reilly had at least 20 fantasy points in each of his previous three games. Reilly not only has the potential to put up huge numbers but I really like his match-up against Toronto. Toronto has really struggled against the pass this season allowing the second-most passing yards per game and second-most passing touchdowns.
RB- D.J. Foster $6,800
If you wanted to spend up at the running back position this week for the likes of Williams Stanback or Ka’Deem Carey I am not going to argue with you. I am personally going to have several lineups with expensive running backs in them. While I will have lineups with the expensive running backs I will have the most exposure to Foster. Foster doesn’t give you anything on the ground as he has not rushed for more than 15 yards in a game this season but he makes up for his lack of rushing yards by his involvement in the passing game. Foster has at least three catches in five of his six games this season which has allowed him to produce at least six fantasy points in each of his games this season and at least 7.9 fantasy points in five of his six games. While eight fantasy points don’t seem like an awful lot of production it is from the running back position especially someone as cheap as Foster is.
WR- Keon Hatcher $3,300
I am going to stick with stacking my quarterback with a wide receiver in this article and give you Hatcher as my core wide receiver this week. Hatcher doesn’t have the name of Bryan Burnham who is the Lions’ top wideout with Lucky Whitehead out but he also doesn’t have the price tag as Burnham is $10,600 in salary this week making him one of the most expensive players on the slate. While Hatcher doesn’t have the salary he is bringing the production as he has at least eight fantasy points in four of his six games. Hatcher also might be in line for some more work this week as the Lions could be without several wide receivers outside of Whitehead as Lemar Durant and Jevon Cottoy have not practiced yet this week.
