CFL DFS Core Plays & Cheat Sheets for Week 11 – DraftKings
Looking for a quick consolidated list of options to play today? Let’s take a look at our CFL Core Plays & Cheat Sheets for DraftKings to help navigate this week’s slate!
QB- Matthew Shiltz $6,600
Shiltz should be getting the start for Vernon Adams Jr. and that makes him attractive to me at his price point due to his match-up against Ottawa. The Red Blacks have one of the worst if not the worst defense in the CFL as they have allowed the most total points this season with 258. If we look at just their numbers against the pass we will see that they have allowed 16 touchdown passes and 9.1 passing yards per attempt which are both worst in the CFL. Shiltz despite not having the best career numbers has also been solid in his limited time of playing this season. Shiltz has completed nine of his 13 passes for 161 yards with a 12.4-yard average and has also rushed for 41 yards on seven carries.
RB- De’Lance Turner $2,500
Cameron Artis-Payne is likely going to be the chalk at the running back position this week if William Stanback is out. With Stanback being able to practice the past two days it does point towards Standback playing and if that is the case Artis-Payne would no longer be someone I want a lot of exposure to. Turner on the other hand is a cheap running back that we don’t have to worry about the guy ahead of him playing as Turner looks to be the Red Blacks running back after his first game of the season last week. In that game, Turner went for 71 rushing yards on just ten attempts and also added in three catches for 15 yards on his way to 11.6 fantasy points. This week I am expecting similar usage and we should see similar production against a Montreal team that has allowed the third-most rushing yards per game and second-most rushing touchdowns.
WR- Eugene Lewis $10,100
You can roster almost any wide receiver you want this week if you roster the two previous guys in this article as they are both dirt cheap. My favorite of the expensive wide receivers is Eugene Lewis. Lewis had an off game last week only catching two passes for 45 yards but had been on fire in each of his previous four games. In those four games, Lewis had at least 80 yards receiving in each game and had a touchdown in three of the four games. Lewis had at least 12 fantasy points in each of those four games and averaged 23.25 fantasy points in those games.
