WNBA DFS Core Plays & Cheat Sheets for September 17, 2021 – FanDuel & DraftKings
Looking for a quick consolidated list of options to play today? Let’s take a look at our WNBA Cheat Sheets for the 2 major contest providers FanDuel & DraftKings to help navigate today’s slate!
There are only two more slates left in the regular season for the WNBA and lucky for us they are larger slates starting with tonight’s four-game slate. Before jumping into tonight’s article I do want to stress how important it is to stay on top of the injury news on these last two slates. I also realize that is a lot easier said than done as the WNBA is not the best when it comes to injury reporting. Twitter will remain your best source for injury news but I have also found that Rotowire is pretty good on news as well.
Kelsey Plum- DK: $8,700, FD: $6,800
Every time I get on the Plum bandwagon she seems to fall off the rails and puts up a dud. While that is a big worry in the back of my mind I am having a hard time not rostering Plum due to the way she is playing. Plum has scored 20 points in three of her past four games and has produced at least 31 fantasy points in each of those games. Two of those three games where Plum went off came against the Sky who she plays again tonight which makes me believe in her not falling off even more.
Epiphanny Prince- DK: $5,300, FD: $4,000
Prince has played at least 20 minutes in back-to-back games for the Storm and has played well in those minutes. In those two games, she is averaging 10.5 points, three rebounds, 2.5 assists, and a steal. Prince has 15 fantasy points in each of those two games. With Prince very likely to play 20 plus minutes again tonight due to the injuries on the Storm and her averaging 0.83 fantasy points per minute this season we should see her produce in the 15 plus fantasy point range again tonight which would easily pay off her salary.
Sylvia Fowles- DK: $10,700, FD: $8,500
There are a lot of elite forwards on this slate but Fowles is my favorite of the group as she faces off against the Fever for the third straight game. In the two previous games, Fowles averaged 15.5 points, 7.5 rebounds, two assists, three steals, and four blocks. Folwes produced 42 fantasy points in each of those two games. What makes these numbers even more impressive in my eyes is the fact that Fowles only played 20 minutes in the first game against the Fever due to a blowout victory.
Ezi Magbegor- DK: $7,400, FD: $4,300
I like Magbegor a lot more on FanDuel than DraftKings as she is totally mispriced on that site. With that said I still like her a lot on DraftKings as she is still a great value on DraftKings. The reason why I feel Magbegor is a great value is due to the fact that Breanna Stewart is not magically going to suit up for tonight’s game. With Stewart out, Magbegor played 24 minutes for the second straight game. In those two games, Magbegor is averaging 10.5 points, six rebounds, a steal, and a block. Magbegor has at least 16 fantasy points in each of those games. Tonight we should see similar production from Magbegor as she is averaging 1.04 fantasy points per minute and 31.16 fantasy points per 30 minutes this season.
