The WNBA Rundown – FanDuel & DraftKings WNBA DFS Picks – July 7, 2021 (7/7/21)
In this article, we will be breaking down some of our favorite plays on the slate at their positions. Remember to always keep your eye on the news as the day progresses.
Marina Mabrey- You have to love what you have seen from Mabrey in the last two games. In those two games, Mabrey is averaging 21.5 points, five rebounds, five assists, and two steals in 28 minutes of action. Mabrey has at least 34 fantasy points in each of those games. I especially like Mabrey tonight as though the match-up against the Lynx on paper is not a good one Mabrey dominated them the last time they played with 35.8 fantasy points in only 17 minutes of playing time. With Mabrey’s minutes looking set in stone in the mid-’20s now there is no reason to believe that Marbrey starts to slow down in this one.
Te’a Cooper- I am willing to forgive Cooper for her last outing in which she only scored 2.7 fantasy points as she had been playing great. In her previous four games, Cooper played at least 24 minutes in each game, scored double-figures in each of those games, and produced at least 21 fantasy points in each of those games.
Kayla Thornton- I love the salary on Thornton tonight as she is playing really well. Thornton has played at least 25 minutes in four straight games for the Wings and has at least 19 fantasy points in three of those four games. In her past two games, Thornton has played at least 34 minutes and is averaging 10.5 points, five rebounds, 3.5 assists, two steals, and 26.25 fantasy points.
Nia Coffey- Coffey is not the most consistent player but she has a couple of things working for her that I like to see out of my cheap players. The first is she is playing steady minutes. Coffey even with Lauren Cox in the mix has played at least 26 minutes in seven straight games for the Sparks. The second is Coffey seems to be on the upswing as she has played well in her past two games with at least 18 fantasy points in each of those games. One of those two games also happened to come against the Storm who the Sparks happen to face again tonight.
