The WNBA Rundown – FanDuel & DraftKings WNBA DFS Picks – June 15, 2021 (6/15/21)
In this article, we will be breaking down some of our favorite plays on the slate at their positions. Remember to always keep your eye on the news as the day progresses.
Danielle Robinson- I hate rostering Robinson as she is such an up and down player. I especially hate rostering her tonight as she only played 16 minutes in the Fever’s last game against the Sky. With that being said I have a lot of Robinson in my lineups as of now for a couple of reasons. The first of those reasons is while Robinson only played 16 minutes in her last game she did play at least 32 minutes in each of her two prior games. In those games, she had at least 17 fantasy points and has hit that mark in three straight games. That third game in which she hit that mark was against the Storm which is the second reason I have a lot of Robinson. It is just too hard for me to ignore Robinson putting up an 11/4/4 stat line on her way to 23.8 fantasy points against the Storm when they played earlier in the season at her salary.
Jazmine Jones- There is no official word on Sabrina Ionescu but it looks like the Liberty’s star player is set to miss another game with an ankle injury. If that is indeed the case I really like Jones as she played great last game with Ionescu out. In that game, Jones played 21 minutes and had 16 points on a 39.1% usage rate and seven rebounds on her way to 24.9 fantasy points. While 24.9 fantasy points may be asking too much for Jones especially against the Aces who have been one of the best teams if not the best team in limiting guards this season if Jones is able to produce in the 17 fantasy point range she would easily pay off her dirt-cheap salary.
Breanna Stewart- I don’t need to tell you to roster Stewart but I am anyways. I just love the match-up against the Fever that much for Stewart tonight. This season the Fever have allowed the most points per game. Stewart has also already dominated the Fever once this season. In that game back on June 1st, Stewart went for 28/6/3 with two blocks and two steals on her way to 48.7 fantasy points. That was the second straight game against the Fever with at least that many fantasy points for Stewart dating back to last season.
Stefanie Dolson- I might have Dolson projected too low right now on FantasyCruncher based on her last two games. In those two games against the Fever, Dolson played at least 26 minutes and averaged 11.65 points, four rebounds, and two blocks. Dolson had at least 20 fantasy points in each of those games and has at least 17 fantasy points in three of her past four games. While the Lynx are certainly not the Fever as they have done a great job in limiting production from forwards this season if Dolson is able to hit the 20 fantasy point mark once again she is going to be one of the better points per dollar plays on this slate.
Rebecca Allen- Allen has at least 18 fantasy points in three straight games for the Liberty and in five of her past six games. That alone is enough for me to roster Allen at her salary but that is not the only reason I like Allen tonight. Allen also stands out to me among the cheaper forwards due to the fact that the Liberty are going to be without two possibly three key players tonight. We know for a fact that Natasha Howard and Kiah Stokes are out for the Liberty and as I mentioned earlier it looks like they will also be without Sabrina Ionescu once again. Howard and Stokes missing are especially key for Allen as their absence means we are going to see mid-20s minutes for sure from Allen tonight which is not something we always can count on from Liberty’s forward due to their crazy rotations.
