DraftKings CS:GO Core Plays and Cheat Sheet (DH) – April 29, 2021

Gambit Esports (GY) v.s. Fiend (FND) 6:00 AM

The number one team in world as of right now has a nice advantage against a currently #54 ranked team in Fiend. However, Fiend could try and start off strong due to their damage per round lead (397.1) over GY’s (388.2). Dream3r and MAR are the best players on FND as of right now with 1.6/1.4 K/D’s and will need to continuing to contribute towards the heavy damage per round to give their team a head-start in matches. Gambit is running hot on a three-gaming winning streak. Sh1ro has been on a tear as of late with nafany being the most accurate on the team (52.3% headshot damage) while having the lowest K/D which does not bode well for FND if one of their opponents with the lowest K/D is still a sharpshooter.

SPIRIT v.s. G2 Esports (G2) 6:00 AM

A rematch is underway between these two teams in which G2 won 2-1 the previous match. Hunter averaged 91.8 damage per round who had the highest on his team and more than likely will be towards the top in the slaying category for his team along with his teammate NiKo (1.19 K/D). Degster has a ridiculous 1.31 K/D but will need to bounce back from not performing his best in SPIRIT’s recent loss. Both teams are pretty close in world rank so the match should end up just as close as the first one.

Mousesports (MOUZ) v.s. Natus Vincere (NATUS) 7:10 AM

Both these teams had some trouble with Complexity in their previous losses that resulted in a loss so I’d expect them to do all they’ll both give a lot more effort to rebound and win. NATUS has one of the best snipers in the game in s1mple while he still contributes the most to his team (73.1%). Acor would be given the tough task of trying to outduel s1mple since he snipes mainly for MOUZ but is slightly less accurate (29.5% versus s1mple’s 33.3%). Therefore, MOUZ would have to look to other slayers on there team such as ropz who still currently leads in K/D on his team (1.20) to try and slow down s1mple and force other players on NATUS to carry the load for their team.

Virtuis.Pro (VP) v.s. FaZe Clan (FaZe) 7:10 AM

Another match that involves two teams coming off of a losing streak but one being more of a powerhouse team than the other. That powerhouse team would be VP but they surprisingly have a less team overall K/D of 1.02 compared to FaZe’s 1.05. FaZe has the capability to pull of upsets so if I were VP I would not take them lightly. Rain is averaging 80.3 damage per round and if his teammate coldzera is on his game (and second in damage on FaZe currently) an upset can definitely become possible. However, the dominance of Jame while sniping will make slaying easier for his teammates if he continues to maintain his 1.31 K/D. Quikert’s significance of saving his teammates the most per round (0.10) will also come in handy while trying to keep his sniper and other teammates alive.

Extra Salt (XSLT) v.s. Astralis (ASTRA) 7:50 AM

ASTRA will be entering this match without their previous sharpshooting sniper device so it will be an interesting test for them. Magisk may end up being the next to step up (1.16 K/D) with device now being gone and the slaying will now be even more crucial due to how important device’s anchoring was in previous matches with the sniper. Sonic has the ability to match Magisk’s slaying however, along with his teammate oSee who is not too far off in slaying (1.14 K/D). Sonic has a +73 differential in clutches so if it comes down to the wire don’t be surprised if XSLT comes out on top.

Team Vitality (VIT) v.s. Complexity Gaming (CMPLX) 7:50 AM

Although this matchup may seem more one-sided compared to other matches on this slate there’s a chance it my end up being close. However, if it does end up going towards one team a lot more than the other more than likely it will be in favor of CMPLX who currently has a 69.6% win-rate. K0nfig is still causing havoc early in rounds with 81.2 damage per round while blameF averages a high 1.28 K/D which will complement the early slaying. This will make the challenge even more difficult for VIT but their main sniper if ZywOo has a chance of slowing them down and contributes the most to his team (70.7%) so it will come down to how well his teammates can complement him.

FURIA Esports (FURIA) v.s. B.I.G 9:00 AM

FURIA has steadily been dominating teams in previous matches (especially in the ESL Season 13) but are in a slump and on at three-game losing streak. BIG is also on a losing streak as well but with less games (two). Tabsen and k1to’s headshot percentages (57.2/58) will make them difficult to kill on maps but bodes well for BIG’s chances. KSCERATO currently leads the team still with a 1.29 K/D and contributes the most so he will have to perform close to that well in order to help get his team out of their slump. Junior is also a top sniper on the game and third-highest in contributions on FURIA so if his shot is on point then the killing will be even easier for KSCERATOR and company.

PAIN v.s. Heroic (HERO) 9:00 AM

To end the slate the current number two team in the world in HERO faces off with a team on a four-game win streak in PAIN. The slaying is pretty even throughout the PAIN squad which may make them more versatile but, if anything biguzera was the last one of the team as of late to do really well and have a kill differential gap of +27 among his teammates. HERO will be looking to recover after losing in a series 1-2 versus the current top team in the world in Gambit. Sjuush was the only player on HERO to go positive kill-differential wise in that matchup but everyone else will have to step-up if they expect to win against PAIN. Everyone on the team has a K/D above 1 which helps with cadian leading the way but sjuush contributes the most per round (74%) so HERO will definitely need a positive game from him again to increase their chances.
