DraftKings CS:GO Core Plays and Cheat Sheet (IEM) – April 26, 2021

Movistar Riders (MR) v.s. ENCE (7:30 AM) (-128 ENCE)

Both teams will be entering the match with one game winning streaks with MR having the more dominant finish in a 2-0 series win. Smooya averaged 98.7 damage which is the most between both teams and his gun skill on the sniper will be a problem for ENCE to handle. However, the accuracy of allu who often snipers for ENCE of 28.7% is slightly better than Smooya’s (27.6%) which may give allu the advantage in that duel. However, spinx is depended on majority of the time for the team’s slaying and currently had a crazy 1.7 K/D during his recent series with his team. ALEX has been the only one capable lately to slay anywhere close to that with a 2 K/D so if he can also perform that well then things should be easier for ENCE in that category.

Trident (TRD) v.s. OG Gaming (OG) (7:30 AM)

Although OG is currently ranked 17th in the world against a rank 54 opponent in TRD they cant take this match for granted especially with both teams losing their previous matches and looking to bounce back. As of now TRD has 19 clutches in game compared to OG’s 23 so they may need to have a strong start to avoid the game going down to the wire. Glowiing and clax were the top two efficient players for TRD but barely had K/D’s over 1 and was dominated with the rest of their teammates by sniping mainly against ex-Winstrike. Therefore, this is a good sign for mantuu (1.6 K/D last outing) to slay out with the sniper in his hands along with the high damages per round from his teammate flameZ (95.5 last game) if that performance is close to being repeated.

SKADE (SKA) v.s. FunPlus Phoenix (FPX) (10:15 AM) (-133 SKA)

This may end up being one of the closer matches on the slate with SKA entering with a world rank of 24 versus FPX with a rank of 14. In addition, SKA is on a wild 16-game win streak right now and trying to keep that trend going. SKADE has the upper hand in damage per round lately (432.5 overall) compared to FPX’s 350.1 which should help give them a head start. SHiPZ was the last player on SKADE with the highest K/D last game (1.32) which is great, but wasn’t drastically higher than his teammates. On the other hand, FPX has pretty even slaying across the board which should bode well for their teamwork but they can’t rely on STYKO to being the only efficient player on the team if they want to have a chance of breaking this streak. However, FPX currently is currently the more accurate team (34.8 headshot percentage) compared to SKADE’s 30.6% which should lessen the difficulty in most engagements on the maps.

Mousesports (MOUZ) v.s. (K23) (10:15 AM) (-195 MOUZ)

Another match that has a chance of being closer than expected with both teams currently on a win streak but unfortunately one will have to come to an end. K23 has been better at slaying, but slightly with a 1.5 team K/D overall while MOUZ has a 1.2 K/D overall. Although K23 doesn’t really have one go to slayer, neeLan was the most efficient in their last match while fame averaged the most damage (87.2). On the other hand, ropz did most of the heavy lifting for his squad in their last match going 73-58 overall across a series in which they swept their opponent 2-0. Also, ropz is currently tied with his teammate Bymas K/D wise (1.5) and will need all the help he can get to keep their team’s streak going. Luckily, neeLan has teammates in n0rb3r7 and mou who can obtain K/D’s to that level which could help K23 break MOUZ’s win streak if the majority of their team stays consistent. Easier said than done but K23 also averages more damage per round (405.7) which they need to capitalize off of early.
