DraftKings CS:GO Core Plays and Cheat Sheet (ESL) – March 28, 2021
Fnatic (FNC) v.s. Virtuis.Pro (VP) (6:00 AM EST)
FNC fought back from being down majority of the maps in their previous match and avoided staying winless, but they have arguably a tougher matchup now against VP. Although, VP just experienced a very close loss with overtimes included this is a very good opportunity to get a bounce back win. Jame continues to be a significant anchor and sniper mainly for VP and his matchup is slightly easier compared to his last. JW has a lot of pressure on him to try and out-snipe Jame who has a 1.35 KD compared to his (which is 0.75). KRiMZ is continuing to stay efficient for FNC and finally getting a little more help especially from Brollan who was able to get his K/D above 1 now. Unfortunately, VP is the more accurate team (50.8 headshot percentage overall) which will cause gunfights to more than likely go VP’s way. Quikert also picked his game up for VP and can be tough to deal with if he maintains his current 63% headshot rate which is the highest on his team currently.
ENDPOINT (ENPT) v.s. Astralis (ASTRA) (9:30 AM EST)
ENPT just got swept in their previously map and sadly have a chance to get swept again especially since ASTRA was able to sweep TL who ENPT just lost to. CRUC1AL and flameZ still are the go-to players of ENPT and have to put in even more work to defeat this championship caliber team in ASTRA. Furthermore, ASTRA has the lowest clutches won in the group with 98 while ENPT has 266 so if ENPT can somehow keep the game close that may be their only hope in winning. On the other hand, ASTRA is currently the best team in the group right now led by device (1.36 K/D) who can be a nuisance for opposing teams on the map with a sniper along with his teammates that have high accuracy Magisk and dupreeh (55%/51%) to complement him.
Team Liquid (TL) v.s. Evil Genuises (EG) (12:45 PM EST)
TL seems to have the habit of going down early in rounds against most opponents then somehow comes back victorious which could hurt them in the long run. Fallen has been leading TL in efficiency with a 1.23 KDA and at times would double snipe on maps with his duo Stewie2k who’s headshot percentage is on the higher end (48%) which could cause havoc for opponents if they are both sniping. However, Brehze has not shown signs of slowing down for EG and averages 81.2 damage per round but will need CeRq to step back up because his K/D has dropped slightly to 1.07. EG also averages a team overall headshot percentage of 45%compared to TL’s 44% which may end up benefiting them more in battle.
