2021 The PLAYERS: DraftKings PGA DFS Daily Cheat Sheet

DraftKings PGA DFS GPP Cheat Sheet for The 2021 PLAYERS.  Featuring top plays, high ceiling candidates, contrarian, and value picks to target for this week’s DraftKings and FanDuel PGA DFS main slate.

We have grouped players into 3 key tiers based on price point.

You can also access a player’s “FC Player Card” by clicking their name or salary. This will bring up key news, stats and match-up data to help guide you along the way for their game that day.

Our cheat sheets highlight the core plays (including some contrarian candidates) that we like the most on the slate and, as a result, would recommend a higher level of exposure to on the whole. It is not an exhaustive list, and if you are a multi-entry GPP player, you may decide to ultimately have a larger player pool to work from. Our hope is that this gives you a tight group of players to heavy-up your exposure to.

This week, the field tees it up at The PLAYERS, which takes place at the Players Stadium Course at TPC Sawgrass in Florida…a year after the tournament was cancelled mid tournament last year during the escalation of Covid.  The course – it checks in as a Par 72 playing at just under 7200 yards.  With that in mind, I’ll be prioritizing players who have the ability to gain strokes on approach and players who are also with their short games, though it should be stated that I’ll never knock a player who gains strokes off the tee.  With that said, with the course not playing too long this week, I really think that it’s at the bottom of the list for me in terms of metrics to evaluate.

I’ve included my favourite options for this week’s tournament below for DFS Golf action on DraftKings and FanDuel, and will circle back with a deeper dive into five of my favourite plays on the board when The Primer is released on Wednesday!
