Welcome to the WNBA Rundown for FanDuel and DraftKings contests on Tuesday, September 8, 2020.
Guards to Target
Jackie Young ($9,000 DK/$5400 FD)- This might be a week where we see teams with crazy rotations as most teams have nothing to play for. With that being said the Aces shouldn’t be a team with crazy rotations as they still can take the number one seed from the Storm as they are only one game behind and that makes Young a top play. Young has played at least 29 minutes in three straight games for the Aces and in those games, she is averaging 19.3 points, six rebounds, six assists, and two steals. Young has at least 35 fantasy points in each of those games. Young is not only playing well right now but you have to love the match-up for her against the Fever who allows the most points per game this season.
Riquna Williams ($6,300 DK/$4,500 FD)- Williams has been a fixture of my lineups the past couple of games as she has been too cheap for her production. In her past three games, Williams has played at least 20 minutes and has produced at least 17 fantasy points in each of those games. Tonight I am going right back to the well with Williams as she is cheap once again, should play 20 plus minutes again especially with Sydney Wiese and possibly Britteny Sykes out and is in a fantastic match-up against the Liberty.
Forwards to Target
Damiris Dantas ($10,300 DK/$6,800 FD)- This might seem like a lot of salary to spend on Dantas but when you look at here play over the past four games I don’t see how you don’t roster her. Dantas has just been that damn good. In her past four games, Dantas is averaging 21.3 points, 9.5 rebounds, two assists, and a steal. Dantas has at least 32 fantasy points in each of those games and is averaging 36.9 fantasy points during this stretch. The Mystics who have struggled this season with most of their best players out of the lineup also are not a team that should slow Dantas down.
Candice Dupree ($8,000 DK/$5,500 FD)- Big fan of the salary on Dupree as she should probably be about a thousand dollars more in salary on both sites. The reason why I feel this way is due to the fact that Dupree is playing really good basketball. In her past five games Dupree has produced 22 fantasy points or more four times with at least 25 fantasy points in three of those games.
