Welcome to the NBA Rundown for FanDuel and DraftKings contests on Saturday, August 22, 2020.
Eric Bledsoe ($6,000 FD/$5,500 DK)– The point guard position is a great position to spend down at today as there are several solid cheaper options on this slate. Bledsoe is one of my favorite of those cheaper options as he has been solid in this series. In the first two games, Bledsoe is averaging 14 points, two rebounds, six assists, a steal, and a block. Bledsoe has at least 27 fantasy points in each of those games. We should see similar performances from Bledsoe today with the potential for a bigger performance if this game is finally a competitive game between these two teams as both of the first two games were blowouts.
Tyler Herro ($5,000 FD/$5,400 DK)– I am actually surprised to see the amount of run Herro has gotten in the first two games of this series as he has played over 32 minutes in each game. I personally was expecting him to play in the low-20s. While it is possible that Herro starts to play the minutes I expected him to play I don’t see how they take him out of the lineup as he is playing that good. Herro is averaging 15 points, four rebounds, 3.5 assists, and a steal. Herro has at least 25 fantasy points in each of those games and has hit that level of production in three out of the four games against the Pacers in the bubble.
Eric Gordon ($5,300 FD/$5,100 DK)-Gordon is a steal at his salary in my eyes as Russell Westbrook is still out. This season when not sharing the floor with Westbrook Gordon has seen a 5.5% increase in usage and is averaging 0.87 fantasy points per minute. In just the ten games that Westbrook has missed that Gordon has played not counting these playoffs, Gordon is averaging 18.8 points, 2.6 rebounds, 1.7 assists, and 26.87 fantasy points. Through the first two games of this series, Gordon is averaging 18 points, four rebounds, four assists, and 30.3 fantasy points.
Nikola Vucevic ($8,500 FD/$9,100 DK)– There are a lot of studs on this slate as it is the playoffs but Vucevic at his salary might be my favorite of the bunch as I really like the way he has played in the first two games of this series. Vucevic has at least 32 points with ten rebounds and has produced at least 47 fantasy points in each of those games. If you watch those games the Bucks really do not look like they have an answer for Vucevic and I just don’t see him slowing down in this one.
Today’s Cheat Sheets show anyone that I currently have over 35% exposure to on this slate.
