DraftKings Xfinity NASCAR DFS – Pocono Green 225 – June 28, 2020 (6/28/20)
Austin Cindric – $10,200 – Starting 9th
Cindric has run Pocono twice, finishing in the top seven in each of his races. He didn’t lead a ton of laps but does have seven total over those two races. All-in-all though, Cindric has had a consistently fast car over the last four Xfinity races and has seen strong returns on value in all of them, with 46 fantasy points being his lowest output. Cindric currently sites third in NXS points standings and compared to the guys priced ahead of him, Cindric returns the best value and differential chance we can get. Cindric is a 4.5/1 favorite to win this race. This track is historically a tough one to pass on, so at worst we need Cindric to finish around his starting position, but with his recent form, this will be my highest exposure dominator in this race.
Joe Graf Jr – $5,700 – Starting 25th
There is some risk to go along with this play, but I view Graf as just too cheap at 5.7k. This was a guy who was being priced in the mid $7,000 range, so the price drop is good for us, though it may not be completely warranted. Graf had a disappointing run at Talladega, but you can hardly knock someone on a Superspeedway. Prior to that he turned in 5.5x value on his price in four of his previous five races. This will be Graf’s first race in the Xfinity Series at Pocono, but he has ran here before in the ARCA series, finishing in the top ten in both of his attempts. The risk exists here as any of these guys starting mid-pack could find difficulty passing, but with such a low price and a way better car than some other guys priced in this range, Graf will be a guy I land heavy exposure to.
