Welcome to the FC Insights Core Plays and Cheat Sheet Article for Yahoo.
In this post, we will be breaking down our top options and plays for Yahoo for each night of the 2019-2020 NBA DFS season.
White struggled in his first game out of the All-Star Break but has been on fire in his eight games since. In those games, White is averaging 26.9 points, 4.1 rebounds, 4.4 assists, and a steal. White has at least 30 fantasy points in each of those games and is averaging 39.51 fantasy points per game during this stretch. Those numbers alone should be enough for you to roster White against a Cavs team that has the second-worst team defensive net rating this season but if you need more reasons to roster White tonight he is going to make his first career start. With the start, we should see White play well over 35 minutes as he has in each of the past three games and I just don’t see him not producing over 35 fantasy points as he has a usage rate of 27.7% and is averaging 0.95 fantasy points per minute with both Zach LaVine and Kris Dunn who are both injured off the court this season.
There are a ton of great dirt-cheap options at the point guard position tonight with Augustin standing out to me as the best of the bunch as of this writing as Evan Fournier is out. In the past two games with Fournier out Augustin has played 27 minutes in each game and is averaging 21 points, 2.5 rebounds, and four assists. Augustin has produced at least 27 fantasy points in each of those games. Augustin has not only seen the huge boost with Don’t Google Me Out (which by the way is my favorite NBA player’s nickname) but the match-up against the Grizzlies is also in his favor as this is a huge pace up game for the Magic.
Draymond Green has already been ruled out for tonight’s contest and that makes Paschall a great play. In the past five games with Green out, Paschall is averaging 20.6 points, 4.4 rebounds, and 5.8 assists. Paschall has at least 29 fantasy points in each of those five games as well as the game prior which was against the Lakers in a game that Green only played ten minutes before getting tossed. The match-up against the Clippers is also as not as bad as it seems for Paschall as they rank in the bottom half of the league in both fantasy points allowed per game and defensive efficiency to power forwards this season.
Reid has been able to stay out of foul trouble as of late for the Wolves and that has lead to some solid numbers for him in the month of March. In his five games this month, Reid is averaging 12.8 points, nine rebounds, 2.4 assists, 1.4 steals, 1.2 blocks, and 34 fantasy points. Tonight we shouldn’t see Reid slow down as the Rockets have been struggling to rebound and contain centers since moving to their super small ball lineups.
