Sharing core plays and a cheat sheet for March 10, 2020, NBA DFS slate on DraftKings.
In this post, we will be breaking down our top options and plays for DraftKings for each night of the 2019-2020 NBA DFS season.
Rocket to the Top of the Leaderboard
The Rockets enter this game against the TWolves on a three-game losing streak, including a 20 point loss to the Magic. This is a slumping team no doubt, but what better way to get out of a slump than face the league’s worst defense in Minnesota? This game carries a whopping 246 game total with the Rockets projected for 130 of it. I still think James Harden is priced out of our range, but the $11,300 price tag actually makes him one of the best tournament plays on the board if his ownership stays down. Russell Westbrook is much more affordable at $10,100 and should have a field day with De’Angelo Russell’s interior defense. We also get Robert Covington against his old team at just $6,500. This total is just too high to look past and if you are going to pay up for a stud tonight, Harden/Westbrook top my list.
Cavs and Bulls Hold all the Answers?
This game on paper doesn’t look like much with just a 215 game total, but I believe there is a ton of value to be had from this matchup. Coby White is finally entering the starting lineup for the Bulls, which isn’t going to likely change his usage or minutes over the long haul, but it is encouraging to see. White has been one of the most consistent players over the ten games, hitting over 6x value in all but one. In his last two weeks of basketball, the rookie is averaging 26.9 points, 4.1 rebounds, 4.4 assists, and a steal. White has produced at least 30 fantasy points in each of those games and is averaging just shy of 40 fantasy points during this stretch. The Cavs are an elite match-up for point guards as they rank dead last in fantasy points allowed per game and defensive efficiency to point guards. On the other side of the court, we have Matthew Dellavedova. I personally never thought that I would ever be writing up Matthew Dellavedova again but I don’t see how you don’t play him with Darius Garland and Kevin Porter Jr. both out tonight. In the past two games with both rookies out, Delly has started and played extremely well. Dellavedova has a double-double in each of those games while producing over 30 fantasy points in each game. He did get a bit of a price jump to $4,000 here, but I believe he is still firmly in play. We can sprinkle in some Andre Drummond, Collin Sexton, and Shaq Harrison in our lineups tonight too.
Please note that we can only list a player at one position on the cheat sheets and unless otherwise noted I like the player at both of their eligible positions.
