In this post, we will be breaking down our top options and plays for FantasyDraft for each DFS week of the 2019-2020 NFL DFS season.
In this article, I am going to give you my four top players for FantasyDraft as well as my cheat sheet. My cheat sheet will include any player that I have more than 15% exposure to as of this writing on FantasyDraft.
Last Weeks Results
- Deshaun Watson (30.08 fantasy points)
- Leonard Fournette (9.30 fantasy points)
- Davante Adams (8.10 fantasy points)
- Jack Doyle (4.70 fantasy points)
Do I feel good about rostering Blough? Hell no I don’t. In fact, just writing this is making me sick to my stomach. With that being said Blough is an elite option at only $500 above the site minimum for the quarterback position due to his match-up against the Bucs. This season the Bucs have allowed the second-most passing yards per game and third-most passing touchdowns. Opposing quarterbacks are averaging 23.9 fantasy points per game against them which are second-most in the NFL. Blough should be able to produce in the 18 fantasy point range as he did on Thanksgiving and that would easily make Blough one of the best points per dollar plays at the position.
Barkley has not had 100 yards rushing since week two and has not scored a touchdown since week eight. Week eight is also the last time that Barkley has produced over 15 fantasy points. While those are bad numbers I have a feeling that Barkley breaks out this week as the Giants take on the Dolphins. The Dolphins are allowing 141.1 rushing yards per game which are tied for second-most in the NFL and are allowing the sixth-most fantasy points per game to the position.
Carson is my top play on this slate regardless of position with Rashaad Penny out. In the three previous games that Penny was out, Carson averaged 118 total yards and 18.47 fantasy points. Carson is not only going to get the big boost with Penny out but the match-up with the Panthers is one of the best if not the best in the NFL. This season the Panthers are allowing the fourth-most rushing yards per game, have allowed the most rushing touchdowns this season, and are allowing the second-most fantasy points per game to running backs.
Ward is one of my favorite players on this slate. Ward is the site minimum for wide receivers and should see plenty of playing time as one of the two healthy Eagles wide receivers with Alshon Jeffery now on the IR and Nelson Agholor not practicing all week. Ward is not only cheap but he has also shown that he can produce when given the chance. Ward has played three games since his call up from the practice squad and in those three games, he has two games with at least four catches for 30 yards and seven fantasy points.
