Welcome to the FC Insights Core Plays and Cheat Sheet Article for DraftKings.
In this post, we will be breaking down our top options and plays for DraftKings for each night of the 2019-2020 NBA DFS season.
The minute restriction that Murray was dealing with all season longe was lifted last game as he played 32 minutes against the Kings. While we cannot expect Murray to play 30 plus minutes on a nightly basis even with no minutes restriction as he rarely if ever shares the floor with Derrick White we can expect him to play minutes in the mid-20s and that is all I really need from Murray at this salary. The reason why I don’t need a full 30 plus minutes from Murray is for one due to the fact he always produces when on the court. This season, Murray is averaging 1.17 fantasy points per minute. The second reason is due to the elite match-up against the Cavs. This season the Cavs are allowing the second-most fantasy points per game to point guards.
Bazemore didn’t do hardly anything in the Trail Blazers’ last game but he didn’t need to as the Blazers won by almost 30 points. Instead of focusing on Bazemore’s last game I am going to look at his prior three games with Rodney Hood out as those games were solid games and the types of performances I think we can expect from Bazemore moving forward. In those three games, Bazemore averaged 11.33 points, six rebounds, a steal, and 1.33 blocks. Bazemore produced at least 21 fantasy points in each of those games and went for over 25 fantasy points in two of the games.
I am not going to say that Jokic is all the way back to his all-star form of last year but he is getting there with three straight double-doubles. In those three games, Jokic is averaging 23 points, 9.3 rebounds, seven assists, and a block. Jokic has at least 43 fantasy points in each of those games. While the match-up with the Trail Blazers is an average one at best I am expecting Jokic to continue his solid play especially if Jamal Murray who was only able to play a handful of minutes in the Nuggets last game sits out tonight as Jokic has seen a nine percent increase in usage when not sharing the court with Murray this season.
Please note that we can only list a player at one position on the cheat sheets and unless otherwise noted I like the player at both of their eligible positions.
