Welcome to the FC Insights Core Plays and Cheat Sheet Article for DraftKings.
In this post, we will be breaking down our top options and plays for DraftKings for each night of the 2019-2020 NBA DFS season.
Butler is one of the hottest players in the NBA. In his past two games, Butler is averaging 29.5 points, 9.5 rebounds, eight assists, and 1.5 steals. Butler has 55.5 and 62.25 fantasy points in those two games. At some point, Butler is going to cool down especially on this deep Heat team but I don’t think that day is today for two reasons. The first is the Heat are not going to be as deep as normal tonight with Goran Dragic ruled out and Justise Winslow who just made his return from injury questionable. The second reason is the elite match-up against the Wizards. The Wizards rank dead last in team defensive net rating and dead last in fantasy points allowed per game to shooting guards.
Dunn has started the past three games for the Bulls and played well. In those three starts, Dunn is averaging 8.3 points, 4.7 rebounds, 3.3 assists, 1.7 steals, and 21.67 fantasy points in 28 minutes of action. Tonight I am expecting Dunn to have an even better performance as I really like the match-up for him tonight against the Warriors. The Warriors rank in the bottom five in fantasy points allowed per game and defensive efficiency to wing players this season.
Adebayo has failed to produce over 30 fantasy points in two straight games and in three of his past four games but that doesn’t bother me tonight as he is going to have a huge bounce-back game in this one. The reason I feel that Adebayo is going to have a huge bounce-back game tonight is due to his elite match-up against the Wizards. The Wizards as I mentioned earlier are the worst defensive team in the NBA but what I didn’t mention earlier is they also are the worst rebounding team in the NBA.
I hate the match-up for Brown against the Nuggets as they play at the slowest pace in the NBA and have the leagues’ best defensive net rating but I am having a hard time not rostering him tonight with the way he is playing. Brown has at least 32 fantasy points in 11 of his past 13 games and has at least 40 fantasy points in four of his past six games. One of those games where he was able to produce over 40 fantasy points during this stretch happened to also come against the Nuggets which makes the bad match-up a little more tolerable.
Please note that we can only list a player at one position on the cheat sheets and unless otherwise noted I like the player at both of their eligible positions.
