The Lock Button – CFB Main Slate – November 30th, 2019

The Lock Button is an article that highlights my two personal highest exposed players. This article is meant to give you a glimpse of my thought and lineup building process for the Main slate.

Jamie Newman & Kendall Hinton, WAKE

Instead of two separate plays, I am giving you one stack to build around. With the loss of some weapons, it was easy to think that Jamie Newman’s production may slip a bit, but if his game against Duke is any indication of what is to come, then we are just getting more rushing equity out of the dual-threat quarterback. Last week against Duke, Newman took 29 rushes for 144 yards and a touchdown; he also passed for 284 yards and a touchdown. Out of those 284 yards, 189 of them went to Kendall Hinton, who has seen a slight uptick in targets with no Sage Surratt or Scotty Washington. Hinton has had the two biggest games of his season without the two previously mentioned players, but even with them on the field, Hinton has been one of the most consistent wideouts in fantasy sports. This matchup against Syracuse has the potential to be a massive shootout and at worst I don’t see a way Syracuse slows down the Wake offense. Syracuse is allowing over 450 yards of total offense a week. This stack falls on a bit more of the expensive side, but these two will be my two highest owned players (very honorable mention to Najee Harris).

My projections are now live on FantasyCruncher and will be available for every slate all season for both DraftKings and FanDuel. Though this content is free I encourage you to take your game to the next level by considering a subscription to FC Premium. If you are a lower stakes player, FC Lite gets you all the tools that Premium does, just with a lower lineup crunch cap. I will post the link below for anyone interested. I will be in Discord chat (something that comes with a subscription) before lock of all slates if you have questions. You can also reach out to me on Twitter @iKezims
