DraftKings NBA DFS Core Plays & Cheat Sheet – November 21, 2019

Welcome to the FC Insights Core Plays and Cheat Sheet Article for DraftKings.

In this post, we will be breaking down our top options and plays for DraftKings for each night of the 2019-2020 NBA DFS season.

Yesterday’s Results

  • Ky Bowman (23.25 fantasy points, 5.3x value)
  • Spencer Dinwiddie (41.00 fantasy points, 5.7x value)
  • Danuel House Jr. (12.00 fantasy points, 2.5x value)
  • Andre Drummond (38.00 fantasy points, 4.4x value)

Core Plays

PG/SG-CJ McCollum-$7,500

Damian Lillard has already been ruled out for tonight’s contest already and that makes McCollum one of the top plays on any slate let alone this small two-game slate. This season with Lillard off the floor, McCollum has a usage rate of 27.9% and is averaging 1.09 fantasy points per minute. Over the past three seasons in the 11 games that Lillard has missed completely, McCollum is averaging 25.1 points, five rebounds, 5.3 assists, and a steal. McCollum has at least 42 fantasy points in seven of those games and is averaging 42.34 fantasy points in those games. McCollum not only gets the huge boost with Lillard out but I also like the match-up for McCollum as the Bucks are allowing the seventh-most fantasy points per game to point guards this season.

SF/PF-Cameron Johnson-$4,000

Johnson is not a household name but he is one of the best values on this slate as he has found himself a nice role on the Suns. Johnson has played at least 20 minutes in five straight games and is averaging 13.4 points and 4.6 rebounds. Johnson has at least 18 fantasy points in each of those games and is averaging 24.7 fantasy points during this stretch. Johnson is not only playing well right now but you have to love the match-up against the Pelicans. The Pelicans rank in the bottom five in points allowed per game, defensive net rating and fantasy points allowed per game to forwards.

C-Jaxson Hayes-$5,100

I don’t love the salary on Hayes tonight as I feel he is a bit overpriced but with the lack of options at the center position he is going to be the center that I have the most exposure to tonight. The reason why I am going to have the most exposure to him is due to the fact that Derrick Favors and Jahlil Okafor are both expected to be out tonight. In the past three games with both players either out or playing very limited minutes, Hayes is averaging 10.3 points, 6.7 rebounds, 1.3 steals, and 2.7 blocks. Hayes has at least 20 fantasy points in each of those games and has back-to-back games with at least 27 fantasy points.

Cheat Sheet

Please note that we can only list a player at one position on the cheat sheets and unless otherwise noted I like the player at both of their eligible positions.
