Welcome to the FC Insights Core Plays and Cheat Sheet Article for Yahoo.
In this post, we will be breaking down our top options and plays for Yahoo for each night of the 2019-2020 NBA DFS season.
This is a joke of a salary on Dinwiddie tonight with both Kyrie Irving and Caris LeVert out. With both of those players off the court this season, Dinwiddie has an increase of usage of 8.7% to 38.8% and is averaging 1.20 fantasy points per minute. Dinwiddie has at least 36 fantasy points in each of the past two games with both players out. Dinwiddie is not only going to get the huge boost with both Irving and LeVert out but the match-up against the Hornets is one to target as they have the third-worst defensive net rating this season.
Until either Kyle Lowry returns to the Raptors lineup for Yahoo prices VanVleet over $40 in salary I am going to roster VanVleet. VanVleet really has been that good with Lowry out of the lineup. In those five games, VanVleet is averaging 20.4 points, 4.4 rebounds, eight assists, and 2.6 steals in 38.8 minutes of action. VanVleet has at least 34 fantasy points in each of those games and has hit that mark in six straight games. While the Magic are not the best of match-up as they are a solid defensive team I don’t see them stopping VanVleet as he was able to put up 32 fantasy points against them earlier in the season in a game that Lowry played.
Butler might not be underpriced but he feels like it as he is having another great season. In his nine games, Butler is averaging 18.4 points, 5.8 rebounds, 7.2 assists, and 3.5 steals+blocks. Butler has at least 33 fantasy points in every game this season and is averaging 43.99 fantasy points per game. With the Heat still dealing with a ton of injuries and a positive match-up against a Cavs team that ranks in the bottom ten in fantasy points allowed per game to small forwards I don’t see Butler having a bad game in this one.
In the five games that D’Angelo Russell has missed this season, Bowman is averaging 13 points, three rebounds, five assists, and a steal. Bowman has at least 30 fantasy points in three of those games and is averaging 25.3 fantasy points per game. Tonight I am expecting Bowman to have even better numbers as I don’t believe that Draymond Green is going to play tonight which should mean Bowman moves back to the Warriors starting lineup. In his three previous starts, Bowman is averaging 14.3 points, 3.7 rebounds, 5.3 assists, and a steal in 37.3 minutes of action.
