Welcome to the FC Insights Core Plays and Cheat Sheet Article for Yahoo.
In this post, we will be breaking down our top options and plays for Yahoo for each night of the 2019-2020 NBA DFS season.
Teague has looked in his two games since his return from illness. In those two games, he is averaging 15.5 points, 8.5 assists, and a steal. Teague has at least 29 fantasy points in both of those games. Tonight I like Teague to continue his strong play as I doubt that Andrew Wiggins who is dealing with a death in the family returns to the Wolves lineup This season with Wiggins off the court, Teague has seen an increase in usage of 3.7% and is averaging 1.39 fantasy points per minute.
Don’t be an idiot and play Harden tonight. Harden has at least 60 fantasy points in six straight games for the Rockets is averaging 67.65 fantasy points per game during this stretch and will be playing without Russell Westbrook tonight. This season with Westbrook off the court, Harden has as a usage rate of 47.2% and is averaging 1.58 fantasy points per minute. Harden is not only going to get a huge boost in usage but the match-up with the Wolves is also an elite one. This season the Wolves are playing at the second-fastest pace and are allowing the fourth-most fantasy points per game to point guards.
I don’t think McLemore is a good player at all but you know what that doesn’t matter as he is dirt cheap and in line for a ton of minutes. The Rockets are going to be without Eric Gordon, Danuel House, and Russell Westbrook tonight. With the first two players out the past two games, McLemore is averaging 14.5 points, four rebounds, and 20.55 fantasy points per game in 27.6 minutes of action. Tonight we should see more minutes from McLemore and I don’t see why we wouldn’t see similar production against the Wolves who once again are a positive match-up due to their elite pace.
Robinson may not seem like a great play as his minutes are not secure in that crowded Knicks frontcourt but when you look at things even if Mitchell plays limited minutes he should eat. The reason why I say this is for two reasons. The first is the fact that Robinson even in limited minutes has put up huge games. Robinson has not played more than 25 minutes once this season yet has at least 25 fantasy points in six of his eight games. Robinson is averaging an elite 1.31 fantasy points per minute this season. The second reason is due to the elite match-up against a Hornets team that has the third-worst team rebounding rate and is allowing the fourth-most fantasy points per game to centers this season.
