Welcome to the FC Insights Core Plays and Cheat Sheet Article for DraftKings.
In this post, we will be breaking down our top options and plays for DraftKings for each night of the 2019-2020 NBA DFS season.
- D’Angelo Russell (50.50 fantasy points, 6.1x value)
- Jayson Tatum (22.50 fantasy points, 3.0x value)
- Kenrich Williams (25.25 fantasy points, 5.9x value)
In the past two games with Justise Winslow out Dragic is averaging 22 points, six rebounds, and 5.5 assists. Dragic has produced at least 37 fantasy points in both of those games and has produced at least 28 fantasy points in three of the four games that Winslow has missed this season. With Winslow expected to be out once again tonight and an elite match-up against a Pistons team that is allowing the sixth-most fantasy points per game to point guards this season, I am having a hard time passing over Dragic at this salary.
Do not overthink things tonight and roster Joseph in cash games. Joseph has back-to-back games with at least 24 fantasy points and is in line to play heavy minutes with De’Aaron Fox out after spraining his ankle in practice yesterday. Joseph is not only playing well and in line for a huge boost with Fox out but he is also in an elite match-up as the Kings take on a Trail Blazers team that is allowing the third-most fantasy points per game to point guards this season.
Randle is way too cheap in my eyes as he has played extremely well in the games that Mitchell Robinson has missed this season. In those three games, Randle is averaging 22 points, 11.7 rebounds, 3.7 assists, and 1.3 steals. Randle has at least 38 fantasy points in each of those games. Randle has not just played well with Robinson out of the lineup but the match-up with the Bulls is one I like to target with big men. This season the Bulls have the worst team rebounding rate and are allowing the fifth-most fantasy points per game to centers. When these two teams faced off earlier in the season in a game that Robinson played, Randle had a double-double and 35.5 fantasy points. Those numbers would have been even better if Randle didn’t commit eight turnovers which I don’t see him doing again tonight.
UPDATE: Instead of Noel tonight, since Steven Adams has been noted as active, consider a $3,000 value in Tim Frazier with Derrick Rose sitting out… it won’t take much for him to hit a 6-7x value and we should see him with 15+ minutes tonight
I do not think that Steven Adams is able to give it a go tonight and that makes Noel an elite value even at an elevated salary. In the three games that Adams has missed this season, Noel is averaging 12.3 points, 6.37 rebounds, 3.3 assists, and three blocks. Noel has at least 27 fantasy points in each of those games and is averaging 32.33 fantasy points per game in those games. Noel not only has played well in place of Adams but the match-up with the Pacers doesn’t get much better. This season the Pacers are allowing the third-most fantasy points per game to centers.
Please note that we can only list a player at one position on the cheat sheets and unless otherwise noted I like the player at both of their eligible positions.
